The 2025 Autobild All Season tyre braking shootout put 30 of the latest all season tyres in the 'sporty' 225/40 R18 size through dry and wet braking tests.

As usual the top 15 from this test will go through to the full Autobild all season test which should be out in a few weeks.

Recorded test conditions

Dry Braking: 100 → 0 km/h
Wet Braking: 100 → 0 km/h

Things to note from this test:

The Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 was best in dry braking
The Vredestein Quatrac was impressive in wet braking, a meter ahead of the Continental in second place
The Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport is better at slowing the car down than the CrossClimate 3 (we knew this from the Tyre Reviews test)
The Linglong is legitimately good in the dry and wet (also known from the Tyre Reviews test)
A tyre named Roadhog was better than Toyo, Dunlop, Firestone, and BFGoodrich in wet and dry braking. It will be interesting to see how this budget tyre performs in the full test.

The difference between best and worst was 18.4% (7 m ≈ 1.6 Car Lengths). From 130 km/h, the Fulda MultiControl would still be travelling at 51 km/h when the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 had stopped.

Dunlop All Season 2( Dry Braking 42.5 M Wet Braking 49.2 M ) and Debica Navigator 3 (Dry Braking 44.1 M Wet Braking 56.4 M) look like exactly the same tire but give kind a different results. May be the tire compaund is different.

Hmmm, strange. Linglong Grip Master 4S wet braking 47.5m in 2025 AutoBild test, was 59.8m in 2024 AutoBild test?!

Hankook 4S2 would be correct. Another mistake: The Ceat is the new 4 SeasonDrive X5.
Michelin CC3 looks bad in wet braking. I wouldn't buy it. As I wrote before, Michelin should be afraid of next Goodyear (Gen4).
