I had these fitted to front of Mercedes C200 CDI - replacing Michelin Primacy HP. They have the MO mark.

The grip is outstanding from the first drive - the Michelin's were touring tyres and although still at 3mm, it was noticeable the grip had diminished and would say Pirelli is better when both were new. Michelin on front did over 23,000 miles and were legal for another few thousand, so no complaints on their front tyre life (rears only 16,000).

Pirelli also feels a little stiffer, grip brilliantly, stop quickly (Mich used to shudder a little as the abs would come on) and are quiet. From first few days suspect mpg may be a little lower (assume higher rolling resistance), but think the price, grip and braking outweighs this.

I was looking at Conti SC 5 ~(as current best on test), but found the Pirelli price had dropped to £100 a tyre on a few websites (saving about £30 for the pair - TyreGiant and Tyresavings), so good value at the moment.

I can't comment on Wear, as so new, but treadwear only 200, so may explain grip and mpg.

have these for around 5 months now .
had dunlop direzza 101 ,
and wow the car handles great now , i use to drive slow through rain .
and after driving in dunlop the move to pirelli was the best thing i ever made , the car is so much better and fun to drive .
its like i got a brand new car !!

Got 43,000 miles from one set. Very very good in the wet, especially with lots of surface water.

awesome tires only have them for a few weeks so cant attest for wear but so far they changed my car to a different car , lots of grip in the dry and wet .
quite and i would definitely buy again. much better then my old Dunlaps.

Repalced OEM tires with these ones at the recommendation of Pirelli. First 2 years was amaxing, then wear started taking a toll. Got a total of 30K out of them. The rest was driving with caution all times especially on wet roads. Nevertherelss, very exotic tires with and excellent and predictable response.

Fitter to the from of my VW Eos on 16/03/2009 and changed on the 04/12/2010 after 25,694 miles which is excellent given the previous Continental SportContact2s were changed at 14,573 mls. After filling the Pirellis I noticed significantly better grip and braking ability which was surprising. I've chaged them for a pair of Nokian Z G2 as they are cheaper and get excellent write-ups.

Grip is good enough but wear not so good. I will probably try Dunlop Sport Maxx TT or Goodyear F1 Asymetric next time

These were factory fitted to my new Seat Leon FR and I've had pretty impressive mileage out of them, they have done 22,500 miles and both fronts and rears are now in need of changing (down to about 2mm).

Dry grip is excellent, but wet grip performance dropped off significantly once they got to about 4mm tread left. I didn't use them much in the snow so I can't really comment.

The main problem is noise - they are incredibly noisy and make motorway journeys very tiresome. On dry B roads where you can enjoy the grip, I can live with the noise, but unfortunately I do quite a lot of motorway driving so I won't be having another set.

First month they weren't too bad, but after that they tracked to every line on the road, constantly fighting to make them go where I wanted too, had the car checked at least 5 times over 2 years, no issues with suspension or alignment, these tyres were horrid, and got swapped out before their time because I was sick of them. They never gripped consistently in the dry, and weren't any difference in the wet. Stopping distance not as good as the Conti Sport 2's.

Great grip in dry and rain. I went out in the snow last year & never got stuck & I went looking for the stuff! lol
