Given 86% while driving a Ford Fiesta Zetec S (195/45 R16) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
I put these tyres on my fiesta zetec s last winter (in the middle of heavy snowfall) after failing to find a winter tyre that would fit my alloys. The garage recommended them as an 'aggressive directional' tyre that would work well in the winter but with the added advantage of being able to leave them on all year-round. And I have to say, they proved to be an excellent buy and great value for money. I've done over 15k miles since I got them 10 months ago and the rear 2 still have plenty tread, will just need 2 new ones on the front in 6 weeks' or so. And my driving style is hardly pedestrian, they've seen plenty of cornering action over the summer!

They are fantastic in the snow, the tread just cuts through it no problem, and they are great in dry conditions - never let me down. Only time they struggle is in very wet conditions, they tend to aqua-plane quite easily in deep water but taking my foot off the gas soon sorts it out. They are a bit noisy at speed on smooth roads but when I drive a noisy diesel it's not really an issue.

Overall, a bargain tyre and I will definitely buy again. (For comparison, the Hankooks that were on the car from new only lasted 11k miles on the front before having to be scrapped, and to be honest were not noticeably better).

They are fantastic in the snow, the tread just cuts straight through.

Given 83% while driving a Ford Focus ST (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
I don't understand the reviews these tyres are getting. Makes me wonder if either other manufactureres are sticking the boot in or people are buying this 'performance' tyre when what they needed was something for touring.
I love these tyres main reason being the stiffness of the tyre wall they give great steering feedback. No squirm on turn in no vagueness. This may make them a little noisy on a quiet car but my cars are loud anyway so it makes no difference to me. Perhaps if you drive a nissan micra to the shops you may notice.
I have these fitted to a ford ST and my old 280BHP subaru. They will be going on my second car when they need replaceing. I much prefer these to many mid range tyres and some premium. for the price there is no faulting them on performance.

Given 76% while driving a Toyota Paseo ST 1.5 (195/45 R16) on a combination of roads for 20,000 average miles
I've been driving with these tyres for 5 years and in the dry i haven't found a better gripping tyre in that price range.
I've driven my car with Yokohama S drives as well and while they are better in wet conditions i can push my car through the corners better with the Federals.
I drive a Paseo with 100hp, lowered and equipped with a front strut bar and with these tyres i can throw the car into a corner and trust that it will stick. In the wet i must be somewhat cautious though as my car only weighs 895kg and with the profile on these tyres you can't drive spirited in the wet.

Given 77% while driving a Vauxhall Vectra SRI 1.9 (150) (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 15 average miles
Well I have these on a a 150BHP Vectra diesel estate. And having had one pair I now added a second pair, as my old rears are worn out. The car is now quieter than with the NCT3's. Although I do not drive like loon anymore, they seem absolutely perfect! Can't find fault with them! Dont know what the others are doing my they seem fine to me! I am sure they are not as good as some of the very high end Tyres, but I am happy!!

Given 48% while driving a Nissan almera 1.5 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 30,000 average miles
These tyres are the worstset of tyres i have ever purchased. They cause extreme vibration on the highway and make a lot of road noise. I can't wait to change these crappy tyres!!!

Given 57% while driving a Nissan Primera (205/50 R16) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
I bought these and at first I thought they were ok but over a little bit of time I find out they aren't. First noticed the lack of any kind of grip in the wet they are truly terrible even at low speeds. I dont drive like an idiot I have two small children with me in the car 90% of the time. Then the more I drive the car in the dry im noticing some lack of grip then too. I paid £120 for 2 of these tyres for my car for the front and I dont think that is cheap for so called budget tyres. The only plus about them is they have a thick side wall so scrapping my alloys is not possible. Overall they are below average and I wouldn't buy them again.

Given 23% while driving a SEAT Ibiza Bocanegra (215/40 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 350 average miles
DO NOT BUY THESE TYRES

They are unsafe. Have had these on my 180bhp car for 350 miles and have scrapped them already. They squirm about on the road even at low speed. There is little grip. They are unpredictable too, the response through the steering wheel is diffrent every time you go around the same corner!
Driving above 60mph also brings on chronic steering wheel vibration. Had the wheel balance checked and it was fine. Borrowed the wheels from my wifes car and all was fine with the car... Its the tyres... Terrible, unsafe, shouldnt be on sale!

Given 31% while driving a Citroën C5 (225/55 R16) on mostly country roads for 4,000 average miles
Had these on my citroen c5 diesel when I bought it second hand. Quite simply the worst tyres I have ever had in twenty years of motoring. Above 40mph they make this incredibly loud whirring noise like a broken washing machine on full spin! Above 50 mph they were so loud I thought the wheel bearing had gone on the car. The mechanic told me that it was the tyres. In terms of grip in dry they were not that good and in the wet as good as deadly. Had them changed for some Barum Bravuris 2 quickly and noise went, car handled and stopped much more safely and steering felt a lot lighter for the change. These tyres are dreadful....no wonder no car manufacturer puts them on their cars as original equipment, imagine the law-suits!!

Given 39% while driving a BMW E46 M3 CS (275/30 R19) on mostly motorways for 800 average miles
I have purchased off brand tires before, these are the WORST ever. My stability and traction control kicks on when the car is not being pushed. The sideways are so soft I rather drive a full sized truck with none low profile tires on it. I have to fight to keep the car straight at highways speeds and in a turn I have to always be correcting. The car feel VERY unsafe. I just came off of Contential Dw's on my Modded e46 M3 with full coil overs and wider aftermarket rims. I will be replacing this right a way after about 800 miles. I hate these tires and should have spent proper money on a proper tire.

Given 40% while driving a Rover 75 (215/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
I bought this car with these tyres on the front, and I cannot wait to get rid of them. When going round corners it feels as if the car is going to slide over to the opposite side of the road or into the ditch.I'm going to fit 'Event' tyres which have a better review and will confirm when fitted (this week)

Given 73% while driving a Toyota Celica GT4 (215/40 R17 V) on mostly country roads for 25,000 spirited miles
I've no idea what half of the other reviewers here are doing with these tyres, I bought these to put on a 300hp 4WD celica and while they do lose some grip in the wet obviously, they grip really quite well (better than other tyres I've had at twice the price!) and are progressive when they let go. My problem with them is I go through them approximately every 10-12K miles on the front, 20K on the rear.
