BMW E46 M3 CS Tyre Review Highlights

Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
Even more grip than the Michelin Pilot Super Sports they replaced, insane, especially in the wet.

Really don't get what all the hype is about. they are dreadful tyres! Average in the dry and scary in the wet. Had them on for just under 5000 miles and have had enough of them.

Absolutely incredible grip in the dry and very impressive in the wet too!

Expensive but worth every penny for a powerful car :)

Not sure on wear yet only just bought them but they feel really soft.

I have had several sets of these great tires and currently have full sets on a BMW 545 and a BMW M3. The wear is fairly even, espceially considering BMW's reputation for inside tire wear. I rotate them regularly having gone to a 'square' setup with the same size tire and wheel on front and rear- something that BMW has gotten away from. The larger then stock tire on the fronty aids in turn-in and eliminates the designed-in understeer. I highly recommend these tires.

Very competent all round tyre offering good value for money.
Have just bought another set using them on the back of an E46 M3. Will probably also put them on the front when time comes for that as well.

Driving on mostly motorways for 800 average miles
I have purchased off brand tires before, these are the WORST ever. My stability and traction control kicks on when the car is not being pushed. The sideways are so soft I rather drive a full sized truck with none low profile tires on it. I have to fight to keep the car straight at highways speeds and in a turn I have to always be correcting. The car feel VERY unsafe. I just came off of Contential Dw's on my Modded e46 M3 with full coil overs and wider aftermarket rims. I will be replacing this right a way after about 800 miles. I hate these tires and should have spent proper money on a proper tire.

Quite simply the best tyre I have ever used - it has successfully taken the crown from the Pilot Sport 2; therefore, the best tyre available.

Dry grip is borderline madness, and wet grip is vastly improved over the PS2 - its now on par with all-weather tyres. It's quite incredible how they've made it work when you look at the tread pattern and see what looks like an old Formula 1 tyre!

I cannot recommend these enough - if you have a high-powered sports car like a 911, M3, M5 etc., give it what it deserves and get a set of these - you will not be disappointed.
