I agree with the comments here, good in the dry but you need to be very cautious in damp/wet conditions - I've had wheel spin in 3rd gear. They are not very progressive/predictable in the wet either and tend to loose grip without notice. In the dry they are very good though.

Given 90% while driving a Ford Mondeo (235/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 14,000 average miles
I bought these tyres as I was a bit skint after xmas. I had bridgestones before and had a nightmare with them when it snowed( took me 2 and a half hours for a 45min trip). When it snowed with these I had no problems. Gripped the road great. Only problem I've found is if you go abit too fast round corners when its wet, the tyres slip slightly but nothing too dangerous. I've had them on for 14000 and still have a 4-5000miles of tread left. Overall a great tyre I'd buy again.

Given 76% while driving a Ford Mondeo (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 35,000 average miles
I read the horror stories as well, but only after I purchased them. The initial feel was great (it was dry). The first drive in the rain, well, I nearly wrote the car off coming off a roundabout. No grip what so ever. But after this scare I drove accordingly for a while. After many more miles these tyres seemed to come good. I'm not sure why they were so bad to start with. I was told that this could be due to the mould release agent. I would buy these again (at the right price) - I must remeber to drive very very carefully on them for the first few thousand miles next time!!

Given 93% while driving a BMW 320D (225/50 R16 V) on mostly country roads for 1,800 spirited miles
I have A BMW 320D and I am allways driving around at a confident pace when safe to do so of course and I have had Michelins, Bridgestone, Continentals etc and I thought well lets save a bit of cash and try out budgets and see if what people say is true (budgets as good as Premium brands). Well I have driven to London, Northwales around SouthWales on Motorways, A roads and B roads, And the verdict is.......... Absolutley Brilliant tyre, a very sure footed tyre in tight bends, brilliant grip (and lots of it)and most importantly brilliant braking in damp and very wet conditions. Now being rear wheel drive the rear end likes to wake you up a bit on a wet day but with the S1063s the car remained planted. Overall a very cost effective and "what it says on the tin" tyre, Worth the money and most of all it does not compromise safety. One more thing.... QUIETE ON MOTORWAYS :)

Given 87% while driving a Ford Mondeo (205/65 R16 H) on a combination of roads for 1,000 easy going miles
Allot of people seem to want to ruin peoples perception of WANLI but to be honest at £50 per tyre, this set have been exceptional for me thus far, even driving on damp, changable, greasy surfaces, the tyres have been no better or worse than the Dunlop SP Sports I had on previously, sure, they don't have the same brand image as Dunlop or Bridgestone etcetera but no body can see the damn things when you're driving anyway!

Given 44% while driving a Citroën C5 (225/55 R17 W) on mostly motorways for 200 average miles
Just had them fitted and some real wet weather followed. Can only describe them as dangerous in the wet. I travel to work the same route daily and have been driving the same car and model for many years. Citroen C5.
First time have been sliding all over the place on corners and roundabouts. Only have these tyres fitted to the rear of the car but the bonnet is travelling one way while the boot is going in another direction. Cheap tyres, yes, but not at the price of my life in an accident. Looks like they will last forever on the tread front - that's scary. Now off to have them replaced. Read the experts' reviews.

Given 10% while driving a BMW 118d (205/45 R17 V) on mostly motorways for 1,000 average miles
I WOULD NEVER BUY THESE AGAIN! Had them fitted to the front of my car. They have to be the worse tyre I've ever bought. You have no feedback in the corners and I have to say in the wet they have no feedback what so ever. Wet braking distances are shocking. Wouldnt really believe the other reviews on here. My car understeered into a tree in the wet the other night. Was only doing 30mph. Thanks to Wanli tyres, the car was written off. Would anyone really take the chance with them. Google the tyre and see what autoexpress, which and Autobild say about Wanli tyre and there performance.

Given 44% while driving a Fiat Punto 1.2 8v (165/70 R14 V) on a combination of roads for 43,000 spirited miles
i must have duds, as these tyres are almost dangerous in the wet, there not bad in the dry but in the wet they are so slippy i have to feather the clutch to stop the wheels spinning out at junctions. breaking is awful and as for wear they have done 43,000 and i have done 7,000 of that and they still have 5mm tread left, great value but not at the cost of my life.
just got enough money to replace them and got some toyo proxes 4s and there where £35 a tyre which is cheaper than these and they are 100x better in everyway.

Given 89% while driving a Alfa Romeo 166 2.5 24V (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Fitted these tyres to my Alfa 166 3L V6 Sportmatic.

Excellent tyres with loads of grip and feedback, wet or dry.

The car is very quite at cruising speeds anyway but now seems even better.

Almost too good to be true given the cost.

Given 89% while driving a Volvo S80 T6 (225/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Completely freaked out when I discovered that these tyres were on the car, due to having read so many negative things about "budget" tyres.

I was in for a pleasant surprise and an amazing ride. The car handled superbly, gave admirable feedback and performed well on wet, slippery and dry conditions. Miles per gallon was well above average for this car. Best of all, the car was very quiet. No pesky road noise issues to spoil the daily journeys. It was necessary to keep an eye on the speedometer, as the ride was so smooth that it was easy to exceed the speed limit without noticing!

The price can't be beaten either.

All in all, a good set of tyres. I would recommend them to everyone.
