Very grippy in the dry, but it got better after more then 28k kilometers. Very tail happy in the wet tho. Very important to keep in mind when driving in the wet with a rear wheel drive car. The longer i have them the better the handling becomes. Very loud and not comfortable at all, also fuel consumption is not great and gets worse over the years, grip gets better tho. So that's the trade-off. Now 40k kilometers of quite spirited driving and even burnouts at 100kph when giving full throttle, but still easily 3mm left on all wheels. It isn't possible to switch back to front, due to different wheel sizes. Still they wear evenly, this is something I never experienced before. Very interesting. The tyres are stock on the bmw from the factory in christmas 2017, now its october 2022 and the rubber is still fine even though it has been in -20 Celsius and +40 Celsius degrees for weeks, just sitting there in the elements, this happened multiple years. Looks like new from the side. Although I don't think these tyres will last longer then my recordholders: vredestein ultrac satin and vredestein quatrace, they will last most definitly longer then average. Which is a shame because i want to try new ones. So far my favorite UHP tyre for general purpose is the yokohama advan fleva v701 and i want to try these on the BMW, see how they handle more power. Sadly they dont have a sidewall and the sidewall on this bridgestone is the thickest i ever had so far.

One of the BEST tyres i ever had. The tire sticks BMW to the road in curves. One word - FANTASTIC.

Absolutely excellent! For those who say it's a stiff tire you best do your homework before purchasing. They are performance tires they're supposed to be firm.

I use the S001 for 2 years now and i can say that they are pretty good. I mostly drive the car in motorway, and i can say that they wear pretty normally and evenly. They are harder than other tires for sure and they need some time to get warm but after they do, i can say that they stick on the road. The sidewalls are hard and there is good rim protection. If you search for comfortable ride, i can not say that this tire is your cup of tea but if you want an all around good summer tire that will not let you down the the S001 is for you!

These came on my RS5 when I bought it. Appalling tire, feel slippery and vague at all times, worst wet performance of any tire I've ever driven and a generally rough ride.

These tyres give a really good dry grip handle like a dream hardly any road noise what ever the weather
Wet grip is surprisingly good and they wear really well

The tyre makes driving the 190 HP Skoda superb with front wheel drive very unpleasing. The car front grip is non existent accellerating out of corners on dry, on wet there the grip is very bad without accellerating already. The comfort is very poor, the tyre is too soft, despite having above recommended tyre pressure, the car keep on bounces at every bump. The middle sections of the tyres still have some 4mm thread left, the inner sides no longer have any thread (tyres were rotated, so all 4 are threadless on inner sides), outter sides have about of 1mm thread left.
The car being driven from new and the tyres being factory fitted in 235/40 R19, i thought it was just a shitty car. Coming from the C6 A6 3.0 TDI quattro, i just thought it was shitty because it's a skoda. Fitting winter tyres showed, that the culprit was in fact the shitty bridgestone S001 tyres.
The tyres are loud as hell on highway speeds, on normal roads the noise is ok.
A very very bad tyre, despite being priced rather high.

Super quick response at steering inputs. Very sporty tyre. Noisy at high speeds. Wear could be better.

Skoda Kodiaq tyres are 4 years old 19k miles - all tyres are cracked on the outer shoulder - recommender for change by Skoda dealer. Ride is firm < bordering harsh...............propose to review softer ride options = alternative manufacturer.
Considered increased tyre depth = 45 or 50 options, but both show as too high road speed (over 3%) for existing ECU speedo calibration. Skoda dealer advised this is a factory setting & cannot be changed
