Dry grip is pretty good when the temperatures are in the double figures (Celsius) but really do drop considerably in crisp UK autumn and winter weather. This isn't completely unexpected but if you're not running winter tyres then is a big factor. Wet grip pretty good but the tyre does not let go so progressively in the wet. The biggest factor for me is the wear rate. Having done 4500 miles my fronts are 55% worn and the rears 45% worn (swap them around every 2500 miles). I drive fairly conservatively and the first 800 miles were running in so no harsh acceleration or deceleration. At least 1500 miles are motorway miles cruising at 100kph.

These tyres were standard fitment to our Skoda Octavia VRS MY14 Sedan. We live in Queensland, Australia and have used them in all kinds of travel, commuting, short trips, extended trips (4000 km), towing across a wide range a road surfaces, suburban streets, motorway travel, highway (Australian versions, insert ironic laugh), dirt roads, all wet and dry conditions. In other words they have had a good all round usage. I have found them to be very good at most things. I have never had any safety issues. I am an operational police officer and trained and experienced in high speed pursuit driving. These tyres provide me with much confidence in the wet and dry. I drive mostly conservatively and look after my tyres by adhering to proper tyre rotation and correct tyre pressures. Still I am surprised at the 63,000 km we have achieved. We still have the same brake pads and disks as well which may indicate my driving style. However when I get up it, the car is responsive, tracks well in corners and brakes well. The only sour note would be the loud drone on concrete and some bitumen road surfaces. On other bitumen surfaces it is quite acceptable. I just turn up the Black Sabbath and carry on?? The car will only chirp in first gear with a bit of torque steer but other than that it is good. Recommended and will get a set of BS Adrenaline RE003 as next iteration of excellence hopefully.

Had these on my Mazda 6 for most of last year. Fitted Jan '17. In storage now as my winter tyres are on the car. They're very grippy and very good steering feel. Unfortunately wear is quite rapid and they're noisy. Gonna try Dunlop SP SportMAXX RT2 next time I replace my winter tyres.

These tires came with the car and so far have been great in both the dry and the wet. Wear is excellent as I have 5mm on the front and 6mm on the rear after 7500 miles. However, the tire squeals when pushed, which I suspect is due to hard rubber.

I found there isn't much communication from the tire. You're either above or below the limit of grip, with little feedback in between. This makes it hard to drive fast with confidence.

If looking for performance over wear, I'd look for something else. However, if looking for a good balance of wear and performance, I'd argue the S001s are perfect.

Car is mostly used for spirited weekend drives and track days.Dry grip, cornering feel and feedback were all positive. Gave those a try on the front axle after having Continental Sport Contact 5 which I still prefer. The tyres started to loose grip as heat builds up in an On/Off fasion.
Avoided driving in the wet anything but A-to-B which is fine. Noisiest tyres I've ever had but never was a concern for me, comfortable overall. Wear was an issue, sidewalls ruined after 3500km (~2000miles) and six trackdays in extreme-heat conditions .
The wear actually is on par with other tyres given the conditions but I've had better performing ones in this category.

These were fine in the dry but as soon as the damp arrived in the autumn they began losing off-the-line traction and I have completely lost confidence in them as a performance tyre for wet conditions. The cold has only made it worse so these are coming off for the winter and won’t be going back on again.

Very good grip on dry and wet conditions. Handling is sharp and progressive. I like the feedback these tires gave. However, these tires were most noisiest tires I ever had. They were noisy, when I bought them but noise got even worse when tires wornen out. Not very comfortable tire either. That's why I wouldn't buy them again.

I got my Bridgestone Potenza S001 (185/55R15 82V) as stock tyres when i purchased my Mitsubishi Attrage GS (Sedan) imported from Japan, or better known in most countries as the Mitsubishi Mirage G4. I had used the tyres for 2 years and averaged about 40,000km till it was time for a change. Dry grip for these summer performance tyres were good and did not have any under-steer, unless taking corners and going over construction joints which had a very very mild skid if driving over 75km/hr. However for wet grip, they had good traction on the roads when the tyres were still under 15,000 - 20,000 km. After that it started giving under-steering issues which at some points drifts on wet road surfaces and dry epoxy flooring at car parks. I use the car daily for traveling from home to work (vice-versa) and back to my hometown on a monthly basis. Now I have swapped all 4 tyres to the Michelin Pilot Sport 3, so far so good with the tyres and loving the grip and control i have on wet and dry surfaces, cant review much about these tyres as still new to them. When the time comes ill post review on them. Cheers..

BMW 340i Msport. A smooth running tyre for a runflat. Reasonably quiet with good feedback through steering. Can understeer a little when pushed very hard in the corners but considering its cost I think it's more than acceptable. Wet handling is equally as good yet obviously deteriorated with wear. The wear on this tyre has been incredible on the front and very impressive on the rears 26k and 20k respectively. Some uneven wear on the front with the outers going well before the middle despite perfect wheel alignment. I'm a fast driver and don't spare the horses and this is around twice the mileage compared to my last Michelins. Just ordered the same tyres as a replacement due to the cost and wear and the fact I do around 40k per year.

these tyres came standard with my 2012 BMW F30 when I bought it. Although very noisy tires and rides hard, i like the steering feedback from it, very direct and precise, plenty of grips and predictable behavior, especially in dry. I've tried Pirelli P7, Michelin PS3 and Conti CSC3, they are all mor comfortable and quiter tyres but cant beat S001's steering feedback and sporty handling behavior, I just feel more confident with S001

Fitted these to my 2009 1.8tdci zetec s Focus and love them always used continental before but was advised to try these as the conti were not lasting long on the front (due to running such high bhp) only cover 300 miles so far but with esp off you get really good feed back and not a lot of side wall flex highly recommend

They suck, would not recommend to anyone. Much better slternatives such as Pro Pilots available
