These are the worst "premium" tyres I've had. I got at least 30,000 miles from the previous Michelin Primacy's on my Mondeo but am struggling to get 15,000 from these. Once there is any snow or ice forget it. I've given up on expensive tyres and will be going with Acceleras next time. Who can afford £1k per year for 4 bits of rubber?

These are my choice for summers. I have found them to be better than the Michelin Pilots they replaced. These are quieter, have loads more grip, so much so that I have not found the limit of their adhesion in the dry.

When you look in the mirror during heavy rain they throw out more spray - which in my book means they are moving more water off the road surface. This is confirmed on country roads with large/deep puddles - before I new I was "lifting off" - now I am never caught out and feel more secure.

Passengers have commented on the reduced road noise and comfort.

So far 30K miles and some life left yet - no reduction in grip felt either.

I will definitely buy these again.

Given 86% while driving a Citroën C4 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 19,000 spirited miles
Great tires for my driving style, never lost control, even at the limit I had great feedback from them. I 'll certainly buy them again, from all the tires I've driven, with Sport Contact 2 I've been very comfortable to drive at the limit. Even after 870miles continuous driving, the feeling was as sharp as when I started the trip and the braking outstanding.

Love these tyres on this car, they may not be the greatest when it comes to wear but the car is fantastic to drive.

Firstly start with the wear, I've only given it 6/10, this might be a little premature as they still have ~3mm on them, having done 26K from new. So I may need to review this review at a later date.
Overall a good hardy tyre, comfortable, excellent grip (suprisingly better than some run flats 255/17 I had on my previous BMW 320).
Whilst most of my driving is Motorway, I still need to get to them, and that involves street & country, which the tyres perform well on. Good feedback and will take some hard knocks (on our pot-holed roads.
Will squeal at the limit (infrequently), surface depending - but doesn't seem to lose any grip so not a complaint.
It's been recommended by Volvo that I put the same type of tyre back on the car, I need it to last as it's my own that I do 45K pa due to get around to work. I guess it may have some low resistance benefits (but never really understood haw it can have that and good grip).

Will be replacing my tyres with these when they've died!

Standard fit on car, got 24000 miles out of them, wet grip not the best, but otherwise a decent tyre

When i bought then i was a little afraid because of the wear of this tyres. There is nothing wrong and my point of view the real problem with its "excessive wear" is the following: The grig of this tyres is amazing and they only squeal when they are almost in the limit of its grip, so people tend to trash this tyres because most of the times they dont squeal and most of them think driving fast equals to a "squeal tyre noise" soundtrack subjecting them into a abnormal wear.
I did notice this excessive wear but i have to be fair, i was testing them to the absurd, when i resume to my normal driving style (fast cornering, late braking)the only thing i got back was grip, a lot of grip and the best of it was that the wear of the tyres started to be normal. Already 15000km and they are good for at least 50000km, a lot of rubber in it in spite of the early abuse! :P

Since I have upgraded to 19's and these tyres come with the car I must admit they are much better then the OEM Pirelli run flats. The run flats were a harsh and hard ride but I suppose they are designed that way.

The CSC2 are superb it’s been dry for a couple of weeks now and they are awesome turn in sharp the tyres offer loads of grip and give confidence when pushed to limit. Everyday cruising they are perfect and have low road noise. We did have a dribble last weekend and I managed to get them up and running and to be honest they felt superb handling was excellent in the wet and under heavy braking these tyres did not let me down.

So all in all an excellent tyre wet and dry I have not had them on long enough to comment on wear but over 10k and ill be happy.

Excellent grip both on dry and wet road, but they wear of... 35,000km and I have to change all 4 of them... almost no rubber left.
