these tyres made driving through snow and ice a pleasure...incredible grip on both ice and snow. great grip in all conditions. needs to be replaced on dry weather as very bad road feedback otherwise.

I had real trouble two winters ago through the north of France when the conditions were icy and snow heavy. In fact conditions were as bad as it gets and my car was all over the place and frankly i had a terrifying time, i abandoned the journey and the car in some small village defeated.
This last winter, same journey and WinterContacts on and i was weaving through all the other lame, sliding and stuck traffic with utter confidence, total control .. i was amazed at the difference ... in short these tyre are incredible.
Having already done 7000 through a north severe winter and a spring Spain the wear is fantastic on a 1.7t car and i drive fast ... i shall leave them on till next november and change if needed to the same.
I cant praise these live saving tyres enough rgds m

Excellent winter tyre, best ones I have used yet.

Grip in wet/dry/snow all brilliant. Can't fault this tyre one bit.

Volkswagen Scirocco 1,4 TSI 160hp (235/45 R17 H) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
I only had these for less than a week, btu the result is amazing. Never missed a beat. Hardly had any wheel spins on slush/ fresh snow. My traction control only comes on wheni accelarate really hard.

Expensive yes, but considering the demand, there is little i can do.

Staggeringly good, all things considered. Whilst you cannot take liberties, these tyres allowed a 400hp rear drive car to get about on all roads and conditions during the recent snowy spell. In the cold and heavy rain too, they have far better bite than the summer tyres (PS2s on 18" rims). In the dry, up around 5-7 deg C, I still prefer the PS2, and the 830Ps feel quite floaty in comparison, but when the temperature drops to nearer zero deg C, regardless of whether it is dry or wet, or snowy and icy, the 830Ps win big-time. I have no other winter tyre experience to compare them with, but I have no complaints at all about the TS830P.

My summer tyres were 17" 225 front 245 rear fitted TS 830 P on 16" steel rims three weeks ago. Once these tyres were scrubbed in after 50 miles they were brilliant in the wet and this week on loose snow, packed snow and ice cannot fault, excellent grip and stopping power.

What a difference a tyre makes. These are just unstoppable in the snow and in the cold freezing conditions they seem to grip as well as my summer tyres did in the warmth.

I can't recommend a set of winter tyres enough if you rely on your car, and these seem to be the best out there.

Can't comment on wear yet.

An amazing winter tyre, excellent in all conditions though slightly light when driving in temp 25c +.Wear is the same as summer tyres but with added benefit of being the best snow tyre available any where in Europe. Can be bought through mytyres.co.uk . I drive a ltd edition 30 golf gti and drive ride has been made much more comfortable and tyre noise is also much quieter on most road surfaces.
