scariest tyre ever in the wet .I was travelling back with my family in bad weather at about 60 mph ususing all my concentration and couldnt understand how other cars were still flying past & staying on the road .Even in small puddles these tyres will aquaplane with ease , you might as well have bald tyres on .

Given 45% while driving a SEAT 1.4 TSI (205/55 R16) on mostly country roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Had one rear tyre with big puncture so had to get a new tyre. Bridgestone Potenza's 300 all round except this one P6000 on the left rear. Round roundabouts it is always the left rear that gives way. Same speed on a left hander it grips, with the bridgestone loaded up. But when the P6000 has the load on a right hander, it is awful. Always slips. Will never put on a set of these.

Given 59% while driving a Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf (QV) (195/50 R16) on mostly country roads for 12,000 spirited miles
Possibly the worst tyres I have had in a long time. Constant understeer whatever the weather or temperature. I would never fit these again and if I bought a car with these I would throw them away as soon as possible. Quite good in snow though. At least they wore out quickly so I could fit something better.

Given 100% while driving a Ford Mondeo (185/65 R14) on mostly country roads for 25,000 easy going miles
Great! Got them on a 1991 1.8 Mondeo I don't kill it anywhere so grip is always good, I do about 5000 miles a year and have had them on for 5 years. Bargain, good even where as well. Looking to get 2 more for the front but can't find any only just started though. Perhaps their was a bit of diesel about for the other drivers to lose grip or wet after a long dry period.

For the MK1 MR2 you cannot find a more lethal tyre in the wet.
Its worse than the Taiwanese cheap tyres for grip.
Had my car for 8 years now and have used it all year round, on track, cross continent and general everyday driving. The car has only ever spun it with these tyres on, not at excessive speed but at 10mph coming off a roundabout when I turned off, not once but around 1/3 of the time, it also slides on corners without letting you know.
The grip in the dry is very good, the feedback good, just the moment there is rain then you best start praying to your God that you are going to make it to your destination.
I removed my tyres ASAP and ended up with £15.00 part worns on the rear tyres instead and these were 1000% better in the wet, given they were a matching set of no name tyres.
I will now NEVER put Pirelli tyres on any vehicle that I own as I feel that their tyres have endangered my life.
In my opinion these tyres should never be put on a MK1 MR2 and anyone who supplies these to an MK1 MR2 owner as a decent tyre should be liable for any injury or damage caused.
DO NOT TOUCH THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE, THE LIVES OF ANYONE ELSE YOU KNOW OR THE GENERAL POPULACE.
Cannot comment on wear as I had the tyres removed as soon as possible, I will use the tyres on the next track day and remove them from my life gladly.
Cannot comment on comfort as I drive quite hard and have lowered suspension and the car has a performance exhaust so cannot hear any tyre noise.

It depends on your driving style does'nt it? If you are too aggressive with the pedals you will loose grip whichever what tyres you use! Drive sensibly and you, your tyres, and your car will last longer! The P6000 is a good tyre, and Pirelli do supply all the Formula One teams.

Fitted to my car when purchased, part worn plenty of tread left. The worst tyre I have ever driven on, changed them within a month. Dry grip is ok ish. Feeback is poor. Road noise is terrible. Grip is none existent even on just a damp road and in my opinion this is an outright dangerous tyre in the wet. If you are driving on these I would recommend that you seriously consider changing them, you will halve your stopping distance in the wet with just about anything else!

Given 46% while driving a BMW E46 3 Series (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 5,000 average miles
Bought an E46 330i with these already fitted after years with a 323i / Dunlop combination. At first I thought they were runflats! Uncomfortable and LOTS of road noise, especially on the half worn rears. Grip okay in the dry to be fair, but very snappy and unco-operative in the wet. But damp roads are the worst, where grip is poor and feed back nil. Have NEVER seen the traction control light come on before on a straight damp motorway in a 3rd gear foot to the floor moment! Only saving grace is that the amount of wear after 5000 miles is negligible.

Bitten the bullet and replaced with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's. What a transformation. Progress is now calm, planted and I don't get an headache at speeds over 60mph. And roundabouts are no longer negotiated through the side window.

Had these tyres for quite a while now, just needing to replace the rears as near legal limit. Driving a lot on the continent so they get about. Grip is ok, but in the wet it can get a little wheel spinny and slippy on corners if flooring it, which to be honest is not how the safe driver drives!
Can't believe the amount of comments where drivers are mixing tyres, saying they have these on the rear etc. You wouldn't, or shouldn't, pass an MOT with that so clearly wrong.

Can't believe these tyres are made by the same company who make the fantastic P Zero Rosso s! The P6000 s are the worst tyre I've ever used. Just bought a Honda Accord tourer with 4 new P6000s and ended up going sideways through a small bend - only saved the car with some extreme opposite lock. Quite a feat considering the car is front wheel drive! Absolutely no feedback that the tyre was at it's absolute limit (at 40 mph)! They also wheel spin in 2nd gear and are VERY noisy. Can't wait to change when funds permit.

Given 79% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk5 1.9 TDI (195/65 R15 H) on mostly motorways for 20,000 average miles
Very good all round tyre, I've found them to be quiet and give excellent grip in the wet, dry and even snow. I've been through a few sets of these and each time found that they grip well even when they are worn down and barely legal. The wear is also good, but obviously depends on driving style - would defiantly recommend.
