Well, it's been long enough to form an Opinion. i bought these as replacement for the Run Flat RE050A bridgestones I had. I went into the purchase knowing they were going to be utter crap so i only replaced the front two on my FWD sedan with these so that the rear end wouldn't go spinning out of control. as I suspected they were almost like driving with grease on the road in the first 150-200 miles.

I say that few miles because I spent most of it, in the dry, with the traction control off, and spinning the life out of the tires to get some wear and heat cycles into them. after about 3-4 days, the tires started to stick really nicely. never had a problem in the rain and they're pretty progressive if you're careful... They're a lot better than the Federal SS595 tires i ran a while back, but they suffer from the same trait... You have to drive on them pretty hard initially to get some heat built up before trying some slick maneuvering. If you're on cold tires, they'll slide a great deal.

Overall, I wouldn't buy them again, but I'm not disappointed for the price I paid.

Terrible tyre, a lot of road noise terrible grip in the wet, bordering on dangerous. Would not recommend under any circumstances. They are true budget tyres.

These are the worst tyres ive ever bought the road noise is terrible.
I drive a mondeo taxi in blackpool and just bought these tyres for the front nice and cheap so i thought.
Most people that get in me cab think theres somethin wrong with cab the amount of noise and they all claim the wheel bearings have gone....

These tyres are dangerous on wet or icy roads. I had them on a 2003 passat sport. Although the car has ESP, I found that I had to drive slower than the average car on the road in wet conditions. Do not buy these tyres, they are dangerous in my opinion.

Awful, truly awful. I bought a pair of these off etyres under 'mid range-brands may vary', which i thought was a bit of a con in itself. I wouldnt have chosen the brand Sunny, but as the guy turned up with them I thought i'd let him get on and fit them.
First drive, incredible road noise. It sounded like my front wheel bearings had given up. The car felt wallowy and unstable during cornering, and during wet/ damp roundabouts etc must be taken with great care, even after about 500 miles wear. I would even go as far as to say dangerous. Had them balanced three times, but will not stay vibration free for more than a few days. I got so sick of the way the car was handling, i put the Pirelli P6000 from the rear with only 3mm of tread onto the front after about 2000 miles. Transformed the car instantly. You get what you pay for I suppose, which is a shame because they weren't even all that cheap. Avoid this chinese crap. I've learned my lesson, premium tyres are premium price for a reason.

Second time I have bought a second hand car with Sunny tyre. Ok in the dry but as soon as it wet they slip slide all over the place, good to make the heart rate go faster. Taken off & thrown away again (thats four sunnys in the bin)

Terrible!!! Had these on the back of my colt and they would make the car oversteer so much that i actually spun out and crashed into a fence once, road noise is not too bad and wear rate is ok but the grip is non existant, i wouldnt recommend these to anyone, spend the extra few quid and get a decent tyre like toyo or kumho you wont regret it

I needed to change all four tyres at one go for MOT and shopped around with a view to buying a reasonable tyre at a fairly low cost. I found the Sunny SN3800 to have mixed reviews but overall seemed to be a tyre I would be prepared to put on my car. I HAVE NO REGRETS. I have found the tyres to actually give more grip than the very much more expensive Michelins that were on there before, they have improved the ride of the car which before was easily effected by variations in road etc and although many have suggested they suffer from excessive road noise, I personally have not found this to be a problem. I am waiting to see if the wear rate is on the excessive side that others have highlighted, but at this moment it is too early to say. Absolutely no problems with this tyre and I will definitely look to buy them again.

These are absolutely dreadful tyres. Noisy, sorry deafening. The wear does not last long either, i've had my car 3 months and it had 3 of them on, they looked fairly new at the time with plenty of tread but now there not far off being bald. Shocking in the wet very dangerous and slippy at 40mph !, will be changing them very soon but have not decided what to get, prop go for Michelin PS3. Do not buy these cheap tyres for your beloved car.

Given 70% while driving a Toyota Corolla (205/40 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 700 spirited miles
Loved this tyre! Absolutely amazing for a performance tyre. Yes as stated, they have some road noise, but it's a super soft sticky tyre, it's going to make noise. My corolla handled completely different with these tyres, I constantly found myself over steering because of how much grip they had, and I pushed them up and down country roads. I had eagle rs-a's on there before and even though they were quieter the sunny's out perform them in dry any day, didn't drive them long enough to experience wet traction. Only reason I got rid of them was because they were wayy to small for my car and wheel, the wheel lip stuck out .5" or more which made it terribly easy to scrape. I liked these so much I went for a hunt in town to try and find them in a 215/45 that fit my rim better. Other performance tyres I've ridden on are nankang ns-1, toyo proxies, nexen n3000(?), and hankook ventus rs2(?), and bfgoodrich Gforce sport. And these are more sticky than even the proxies, not as quiet, but didn't have as much traction as the bf's did and the proxies were 225's. Out of all those tires I'd still rate this one the overall best value, you get the proxy performance for a walmart tyre price. I'd buy again
