Have no comparison on this vehicle with other tires yet.
Was driving on snow this year multiple times and felt safe all the time.
Never felt disadvantages on dry and wet roads.
It is a bit wobbly, since it‘s not a performance tire.
Downside is a whine at about 70 to 80 km/h, which appeared from the first day. Also I have the feeling that it should be more silent in general.
The noise is the reason I would not buy it again.
Furthermore small pieces of the profile are getting lose. Maybe this is due to driving it fast in summer on the Autobahn with unlimited speed (top speed of vehicle is 250 km/h).

I've had these tyres on my car from new and they are now hitting 40,000 miles and still going strong. Excellent wear and longevity - still have another 5-6000 life in them but will be swapping out for Crossclimate 3 Sport this winter as driving to the Alps otherwise would have happily bought the same tyres again. Plenty of grip and responsive handling for daily driving and some spirited B roads. Never aquaplaned even in inches deep standing water. Does understeer very slightly if aggressive turn in on wet roads but quick to regain control. Main negative is the minimal comfort as the road imperfections are directly transmitted to the cabin (although that may well be the car's suspension design) and they are not very quiet unless on perfect tarmac.

Ignore all the people on here talking as if you have to put Pirelli’s on every vehicle known to man. Your tyre choice is relative to your individual circumstances; vehicle type, speed, usage, type etc. I’ve had 4 of these fitted to my VW Transporter Kombi. I like most are looking for a decent enough tyre that doesn’t break the bank.
Let me tell you that these don’t disappoint. First of all these things are QUIET. Seriously on a T28 running 255/40/20 I would expect some road nice, but these are so quiet it was pleasantly surprising. Dry grip is fine, no issues on windy country roads razzing around in the van. Not had a very wet day to test yet but from the 2022 and 2023 tests I’m not expecting issues.
Don’t hesitate buying these.

TL,DR; Exceptional in snow, great in mud, loud above 50MPH, too soft for high-torque acceleration. Perfect tyre for low temperature climates, less so for temperate. These are Volvo-homologated tyres, but not EV-specific.
I initially reviewed these tyres in September 2022, before the "heavy" (by our standards) snow season experienced over the 2022 UK winter. I said they were soft, likely prone to wear, and probably not great for an EV. I take all that back, with two caveats (different from my first initial review). The tyres, as you'd no doubt expect, excel in the snow. I drove over to Chipping Campden high street in the heaviest snow of the season and drove up that hill like it was a dry summer day. Compacted or fresh snow, the car just carried on. Couldn't be happier. From the review videos we all know this is a snow tyre.
Mud is a similar story. I frequently walk my dog in woodland and open country, and parking is rarely paved. I've never been stuck in the mud, even with deep ruts and wet slurry for a surface. The wide gaps in the tyre tread find something to catch and just pull on through. I'd be lying if I said I considered anything I do as "off roading" but I wouldn't be put off by a muddy trail or gravel track at this point. The car and the tyre seem to be set for adverse conditions.
The two caveats: road noise, and hard acceleration. Above 50MPH there is a constant roar from the tyres. It's an EV; I get that there will be more apparent road noise. But there is a lot of it. Secondly, the front end feels very light under *hard* (maximum) acceleration. I don't remember what the factory-fitted Pirelli's felt like, but it's enough to make me ease off if it's not a dead-straight road. Again, bear in mind this is an EV; 0-60 in well under 5 seconds. It's a rare occurance to push that hard unless you're purposefully pushing the car to the limit. Normal driving the car is comfortable and well planted. Nobody drives TO THE MAX in every day conditions.
I tyres for a car I don't own and driving conditions I very rarely encounter. They were the wrong tyres for me. If you live somewhere cold, they might be the right tyres for you. My next set of tyres will certainly be EV-specific.

These tyres were fitted to my long term loaner, as my family had the need for a big 7 seater. They were at 5.5mm at the start in April.
I never would've thought that these chinese tyres could be so bad. Apart from an acceptable level of dry grip, they were horrendous in the wet.
If I had had any sort of choice if I would have fit this tyre on one of my cars, then I'd honestly rather walk, because I do not trust these tyres.
These tyres have to be avoided under any circumstances.

Initial impressions are that these are *very* soft tyres. The sidewall is easily moved with a fingertip at 40PSI, as is the tread. I've a set of Pirelli Scorpion Winter tyres which are more firm to the touch despite significantly more siping in the tread blocks at the same 15 celcius ambient temperature. Maybe the design of the siping in the CrossClimate's compensates for this soft compound. I can't help but think that it will lead to early wear on the tyre tread, especially on a high-torque EV. Having said that, the ride is more comfortable than it was on the 20" Pirelli P Zero Elect's that came on the XC40 Recharge, which is a pleasent bonus on this car. Will add more when the wet and cold weather comes upon us.
I'd buy this tyre again, but not for an EV.

I have driven these tyres for 45.000 Km's on a VW Tiguan Allspace 2.0 BiTDi 240HP DSG7 R-Line 7seater. Very satisfying tyre, factory fitment as oem tyre. Only negative is the rather fast wear of it, you can calculate around 1mm wear every 8-9.000 Km's. Max life is 40-45.000 Km's. Also, the Seal Inside technology of Continental, gives you a rather peace of mind state on the road.

Changed after 9 months and 17k miles was told this was good, I felt I should have at least gotten 25k.
Buying another set and these will determine whether to change brand in the future.

A sporty tire, not very comfortable, with great steering/handling, stable at higher speeds (around 200 km/h) where the sidewall is hard (tougher than the Continental ContiWinterContact TS830 P, I checked that), the rim protection is really big and the noise is acceptable.

Put these on my Model Y performance. They are definitely a winter tire as the summer ones grip and hold the road better 21 inch turbine wheel. For Tahoe driving the X ice and snow are the superior way to go. AS i will be swapping them out when ski season ends they should last and wear well

Initially I was very pleased with these tyres. They handled much better than the pirelli tyres that came on the car and overall made the car much more stable in corners.
Fitted to the fronts when the rears were nearly at the end of their life, I have now found myself replacing all 4 at the same time. Well, this would be the case if tyres hadn't split along sidewalls rending them useless.

Writing about the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti
rated 87%
Bought these to replace my Michelin PS 4S on my Audi A6 Avant as i had the legendary Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's on a older A4 a few years ago so I know that Vredestain are capable of producing great summer tyres.
I'm happy to report the Vorti's are just as good if not better that the Michelin PS 4S. I would say comfort is even better on the Vorti's and less noise to boot as well. Dry & wet grip is just as good as the 4S, ie phenomenal. Done about 20000 miles on them so far and tread is still showing as 5mm on all 4 tyres, so wear rate seems to be good. The icing on the cake was the significantly lower cost of the Vorti's - I paid £140 per tyre, the 4S's were around £200 per tyre!!
In short - superb tyres. You won't be disappointed.
