If the tires are dry and very good grip on wet roads makes the air temperature is too low. I should mention also that the very long-lasting and robust. Due to the hardness of the single worst aspect is quite audible, and quite a bumpy ride, but it leaves behind a good grip and long life.

Fitted to my leased MAZDA 6 estate as standard, Car now covered 72,028 miles. Replaced 1st set (all 4)at 32000 miles. Recent service indicated tyre wear to on the limit of 1.6mm for 3 tyres. A nonrepairable puncture necessitated a new tyre about 6 months ago.

Second set have produced 40000 miles of trouble free motering. Unfortunately, tyre service centre fitted 3 Pirelli P7 yesterday. I have no control over this .

A new Mazda 6 tourer due in March so hope it is fitted with Turanzas.

Got these from new on a 2010 Honda Civic 1.8 5 door EX GT.
For a premium brand tyres these give a harsh ride and make a real raket at speed. In the wet they are easy to slip and not particularly stable at speed when raining on the motorway. They lasted about 16 000 on the front driving/steering wheels and the rears still have about 5-6mm of thread left. I have since replaced them with Continental Sport Contact 5s which are a lot quieter and while the ride in this generation of Civic will never be called comfortable it is much improved.

Went through 2 sets averaging 10,000 on fronts before changing.
Not the best as I mostly do m/way driving. Comfort ok, cornering grip poor.
Disappointing.

Excellent wet & dry grip in summer.
long lasting. Managed 50k from pair on the back, 30k from front tyres.
Better than average winter grip for a summer tyre.
Great value for money.

Just bought my third pair of Bridgestone ER300's!
They are not perfect, but do most things very well.
Before the most recent purchase (Dec 12)I scanned the tyre reviews on this site. Goodyear / Michelin / Dunlop... Some said good things, others said poor things. But Bridgestone tyres didn't seem to get any bad reviews. (But they didn't get any rave reviews either.) I'd guess I'd agree with the other reviewers - they are not fantastic tyres, but they do everything quite well.

Good mileage - 21000 miles had the front tyres down to 2.5mm. Previous Dunlops and Continentals were down to the same depth of tread on 10000 miles...

Very good tire in its class. Lots of grip and predictable.

Had these tyres from new on my Toyota verso sr 1.8. The front tyres lasted for 2 1/2 years done about 29,000 miles had to change them cos the side walls on the left tyre was totally worn, this is cause by going around aroundabouts lots where I live ( northeast of England,Newcastle.)
The back tyres have done about 47,000 miles and about to change them soon.They still have about 3.5mm tread on them but the side walls are starting to crack.
Driving style ,mainly taking kids to school,work,holiday road trip and car usually fully loaded.

I bought these tyres (4 new) to replace the factory fitted Continental CP2 that were good but that didn't last very well. I read a lot of reviews on this excellent site and went for these as category/award winning tyres in 2010. My opinion? They never let me down once in either the wet or dry and they did last about 20% longer so that's a success, right? Well, yes and no.

I'm not a 'spirited' driver generally and do a fair few motorway miles so maybe others would test them harder than me and for them they'd be a better match. The reason I'm getting rid of them now however (when I could get probably another few thousand out of them) is that the fuel economy has never matched what I got from the Continentals. This could be a problem with my car of course but the drop did happen at exactly the same time I changed the tyres and the car is regularly serviced. The fuel economy changes with the time of year of course but it has consistently been about 5% down. This is no German road test, just one person's observation. I've thought about how much fuel I put in my car a year and worked out what this equates to in cash and I've decided to put safety and perhaps money first and change these tyres with about 3.5mm tread left ... many recommend this anyway.

So I went for Eco-type tyres then? Well, actually, no. I've had these before and in my experience, they last incredibly well (with great fuel economy) but even my sedate driving sometimes tested them. I don't buy tyres for Alton Towers experiences. I seriously thought about going back to the Continentals but I now do a lot more cross country winter miles. With winter coming, I've decided to try some Bridgestone A001s. As all-season tyres, these clearly will not give me excellent fuel economy either but I doubt they can be much worse (certainly not based on the new labelling system) and they will stop me in half the distance on snow and ice than any pure summer tyre. I'll write a review on these when I have done some miles on them.

So basically, a good tyre but not right for me. Hope this is helpful and happy motoring :o)

Great tyres! Not a sporty tyre but almost. Just need to be a little more firm to acomplish that. But as a Touring tyre it's great. In wet you have too slow down a bit, but it wont put your safety in danger.

Great touring tyres , but I prefer more sportier tyres :)
