I own a 2010 VW Transporter dual cab vehicle and these tyres were fitted as original.I noticed the front two tyres seemed to be excessively but evenly wearing at approx 10000km and I had to replace them(totally bald)at 19000kms. The 2 rear tyres were still approx 80% good. I have now got 28000kms on the odometer and the 2 front tyres are worn down to approx 40%, rears still approx 60%.Very poor service considering my previous 2006 Transporter obtained 63000kms with regular rotation.I keep getting asked if I am rotating my tyres but my response is "the front tyres are too far gone by the time that comes around".To Goodyears credit they did replace the first 2 free of charge but dont want to be going through this every 8 months

Great tyre - very quiet, which I've noticed since changing to a Pirelli - not great in standing water, but communicated well on damp roads, and gave confidence.

These tyres are brilliant in the dry, but it's in the wet they really come into their own for me. Far better than any non RF's Ive used so far. Will definitely be buying a set to replace these.

I had a set of these on my mk4 golf 1.6 and i drive fairly fast... they have been excellent in terms of grip. The tyres let u know when they are losing grip unlike michelins who just all of a sudden spin u off. This help me react. Only ever time they have lost grip is at the back on a wet grate round a bend but say this the golf is a heavy car and i was carry a fair bit... not so great for mile munchers but u cant have grip and expect the miles it cant happen!
just put michelin energy savers on front might stick with these at the rear.

O.E. on AUDI Q5 31000 miles. im happy But dont seem to be able to obtain replacements. have been told goodyear owns dunlop. question are they as good? further should i buy an A O fitting tyre

Good tyre but the compound must have been change, previous set were good for 25k miles, current set will need changing at 15K miles !

Bought a used Skoda Octavia Estate 6 months ago, these tyres were fitted to the front. Since then have done only 5K mileage on a variety of roads. Came through the winter Ok, like all tyres they have less grip in wet/snowy conditions than dry conditions. Drive safely accordingly to the existing road & traffic conditions.
Important fact, check that your tyres are correctly inflated on a very regular basis, not only does it improve the handling characteristics, but also lightens the steering without detracting from the safety angle. Dunlop tyres can feel heavy on the steering if the pressure is not checked regularly, this also applies to the load carried especially on long journeys.

I had these on all 4 corners and they drove well with good handling in all conditions with low road noise. I replaced the fronts on around 22000 miles, which was very good with Dunlop Sport 9000. The 9000's are really bad in comparison with terrible wet handling.
The rear's lasted just over 50000 and i only replaced them when they failed an MOT due to cracking on the tyre wall due to age. You really cant fault them for wear. The rear's however became very noisy when the tread became low,i actually thought the bearing had worn. Generally a good tyre for the price, however you can get the same performance for cheaper.

These tyres were factory fir on my Auris, and i bought the car used with 15500 on the clock, and the tyres still had plenty of tread.
I have just covered 19100 miles and the MOT yesterday showed even wear across the tyre and still 3.5mm left, so they are a good tyre for wear.
That is where the compliments end. The road noise is horrendous with these tyres fitted, and i hate driving over any rough tarmac as they drown out everything.
The grip in dry conditions is average, but you really don't feel like they could hold you on the road if you needed to swerve to avoid something.
Grip in the wet is poor, and without traction control i doubt i would stay on the road, and if the roads have some ice on them then you really do have to be very careful (as you should on any tyre) as they just don't like roundabouts in anything below 2c temperatures.
I'm looking to replace these tyres as soon as possible and pay for a softer compound rubber with less wear rate but better grip, as i feel that there is no point having a long wearing tyre if the car is going to end up in a verge due to poor grip.

THESE TYRES WERE ON THE CAR FROM NEW MORCH 2010, AT FIRST THEY SEEMED SUITABLE AND THE ROAD NOISE WAS MINIMUL.AFTER 3 MONTHS OF HEAVY DRIVING IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS THE ROAD NOISE INCREASED. THE WARE HAS BEEN FANTASTIC AT 19K EVEN WARE FRONTS AND BACKS. I WOULD CONSIDER THESE AGAIN IF THE COSTS WERE REDUCED TO A RESONABLE LEVEL AND IN LINE WITH GOODYEAR AND OTHER BRANDED MAKES.

These tyres were fitted from new on my Toyota Auris 1.4 D4D MMT. From new they spun easily on wet roads - especially during winter. I don't drive particularly hard but mostly use auto mode.

Performance was good on dry roads and for the first 20,000km they were 'ok' on snow (good for summer tyres).

I replaced them after the recent bad weather as after 35,000km they are no longer suited to winter driving - sliding and spinning badly in even a small amount of slush. There was still about 4mm of thread but I replaced them with all season Bridgestone A001s.
