I bought my car with these tyres and drove 35t on them without any problem. All the time the tyres worked well although after about 30t they lost grip a bit. As they are slowly coming to the safety limit now I will probably replace them next year. Previous owner however told me these were actually the original tyres. Considering that true the tyres managed something like 55t.

I have had these tyres about a year, I know these aren't winter tyres but these tend to slip in the cold mornings when i am pulling off from a T Junction (I haven't had this with previous tyres and I am not flooring it).
Secondly I am shocked to see that the tread has gone quite far down, I previously had Budget tyres (Kumho i think) and they lasted way longer than these, I am sure that my tyres are in line and the tracking is fine.
So 2 things to point out and thirdly I do not notice any change in fuel usage, I am not expecting a dramatic difference but there has been no difference at all.
I think these tyres are way overrated and not worth the extra money.
I am not going to buy these again.
I hope this has helped, I wanted to pass on my experience to help others as I have found this website helpful for other tyre reviews.

These tyres were original equipment on my BMW 320D and they have now done 58,000 miles. They are down to 3 to 4 mm of tread and I shall be replacing them shortly. I will definitely buy the same again. Most of my driving is motorway and I find that these tyres are excellent for all-round performance. I consistently get the BMW-claimed MPG (61.1 mpg). Other reviewers have claimed that these tyres are ragged at the limits of performance etc, but I seldom drive like that anyway. Noise level and comfort is fine – they are original tyres so I cannot compare them with anything else on this car. For me, though, the clincher is the wear -I have never had tyres that have done anything close to the mileage that these have. Little short of remarkable.

Good tyre but very fragile! Definetely you get your money back but for the bumpy roads of greece i think you need a harder tyre! I moved on to continental matador m16 stella 2. Hope it is a good choice!

Even the fronts lasted 33,000 miles (& still 2mm+ left). With fuel saving low rolling resistance might even have paid for themselves in that time.

long lasting tyre with only average grip and performance.
I got one set since 2008 - after 5 seasons = 42k miles I threw away one pair and the other one had sill 4 mm, so was still ok for rear axis. since then they ran another 10k on rear axis and are serving still...

On the plus side, they give decent MPG and last (30k of motorway miles). However, that really has to be your sole focus.
The wet grip is limited, especially if cold and wet. Worse that that, when they do let go in the wet, they really let go and it's not really controllable. Comfort & noise is pretty average.

I had no problem with the tyres as they were rolling, the main problem I had was that they were very fragile, I bought 6 tyres and lost 5 of them within less than 11000 KMs:
1 was torn in a small collision, the sidewall broke
1 had a baloon due to a pothole in the sidewall and eventually broke
2 were torn by potholes, again sidewall breaking, immediate break
1 had mutliple perforations and was a basic bad luck
I am clearly a not very lucky (nor skilled in avoiding potholes) driver, but for the tyres to get damaged each by a single hit is not acceptable in my opinion.

I'm writing about Michelin Energy Saver tyres because I was delighted with them, yet other reviews are all over the map. They were installed on a Fiat Punto rental car; I was initially cautious of their thin sidewalls and simple tread pattern, but they never let me down. While driving around Italy (country roads and Autostrada), they were always quiet, rode smoothly and gripped well during acceleration, braking and cornering. Whether the road was dry or wet; tarmac, concrete or gravel; warm or cold; even a surprise snow and hailstone flurry did not cause me any loss of driving confidence. Understanding that they are not maximum performance summer tyres, nor optimized for deep winter snow and ice, these Energy Savers just seemed to perform well, when driven appropriately, for all conditions.
Unlike other tyres on the same type of car that have been noisy, or cornered strongly but had poor braking, these Michelins did everything well and quietly. They will be what I will buy for spring, summer and autumn use if available in the size needed for my own vehicle.

OK in the summer, but as soon as it gets cold and wet I'm sliding all over the place. Only buy this tyre if you have some winter tyres to put on in the codler months.

These tyres have done 48,000 miles and the front ones have got about 1mm left on them before they reach the legal limit.driven on a mixture of roads with lots of both of rough singletrack and motorway driving. Not too bad in fresh snow to say there eco tyres. So would definitely recommend them
