in a couple of words: they don't worth the money.
acceptable grip in the dry, but horrible in the wet.
trust me, these tires are dangerous.

the problem is not the tread design (they don't suffer aquaplaning) but the hard compound. driving on a damp road, especially in winter, was a real nightmare. they seem to be made out of wood just to save few quid of fuel every 10000 miles, and I can't understand why

the sidewall is *very* soft, they are *not* a sporty tire so the ride is very good. quite noisy under hard braking (just now that they are old, not when new)

anyway they last very long, but definately I would not buy them again

28000 mainly motorway miles and still has 3mm of tread .

Can't fault them.

Getting over 20000 on these tyres, one of the back still in good nick has lasted over 60,000 mls. Great tyres for driving I do.

Just overrated. These tires are mediocre especially for their price...and didn't save me a drop of fuel?!?

I bought these tyres mostly based on reviews stating they're long lasting. I do 25,000 miles a year so this is important. Generally I've been very pleased with them, good grip in the dry and wet and wear has been pretty good at about 20k on the fronts, though not as good as I expected.

I wouldn't buy them again though as they are very noisy around roundabouts, even going around at a sedate pace causes a sound I would only expect at twice the speed. The tyres did this from new (I changed from Bridgestone ER300s which would only squeal if really pushed as expected) but has got worse with wear.

Excellent relationship duration and performances. Until now, most lasting gum that keeps good properties.

Good tire overall, but price is an issue if you consider i had tires half the price i paid for those and nearly the same performans.
Bigger problem is the road noise. I have 2 times the noise i had with the other brand, (Trackmax).

If you hunt around you can get these cheaper than they are advertised. Overall good tyres and excellent wear.

These were fitted to the back wheels when I bought my X-Type Jag, and I'm not thrilled. The dry handling is acceptable despite a gut feeling of about-to-lose-it from the back end, but the wet handling is awful. At the slightest fast bend, you get the feeling they're not gripping well, and only careful driving is making sure they do hold. As it's quite a hefty car, that means that I find they are not up to the job, and will have to go - which is a pity, as they've got lots of tread left. I will not be getting them again!

Not bad but on wet roads could be better.
Irregular consumption on the front noted because outside too soft.

Replaced some old goodyear eco tyres with these, and my comments are as follows. First of all, the fuel economy of the car improved slightly from about 9.9l/100km to 9.3l/100km (this is the real life value calculated from amount of fuel put in at the pump, and tripmeter reading - averaged over the 3 months prior to buyng and the 3 months after buying the tyres). Same air pressure in both cases. Car also feels like it has less rolling resistance - the same press on the gas pedal now results in slightly more acceleration than before.

The dry grip is quite good. Not perfect, it's quite easy to get the car to understeer or skid if you try. But the grip under braking is phenomenal. Goes from 80km/h to zero in under 3 seconds in a car with no ABS. The wet grip is good - the grip limit is almost identical to the dry grip in fact (I only got into a tiny skid in the wet going round a sharp corner on a steep hill - it was more of a shimmy than a skid actually).

Road feedback. Hmm, the steering gets quite soft and non-feedback-ey under certain conditions (ultra heavy rain with puddles), but the grip is still there. When skidding there's enough feedback to let you feel your way out of the skid. Even in the wet (which is the only time I got into an unintended skid - but managed to arrest it within a second and didn't even get out of my lane; similar skid with my old tyres and the car oscillated 3 times before it stopped moving).

Progressiveness is ok. You can feel them starting to lose traction, and if you keep pushing a skid gradually develops, but it's quite predictable.

Wear - haven't driven enough to say, but so far no discernible difference in tread depth

Comfort - no different to my other tyres. What's different is that since eco tyres use silica instead of carbon black, so the skid marks are much less visible, and when you feed in too much power and spin the wheels, they make a scraping noise instead of a screech. I might buy them again, but they cost me €97 each (total €388) compared to something like the Dunlop Sport 01 being at about €70 each. But with my low mileage I will probably change the car before the tyres get worn out.

Tyres are excellent in first two years, but after that they get completly plastic and have no grip at colder and wet weather
