Vredestein Ultrac Vorti Reviews - Page 9

Given 99% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/40 R18 W) on mostly town for 2,000 spirited miles
I'm only a couple of thousand miles in on these tyres and straight the way my Octavia vRS feels more planted on the road. A positive drive with good feedback and less road noise to boot.

I've driven these a number of times in heavy rain an they are definitely as good as my previous Vred Sessanta's. I'm now looking to see how these tyres perform on ice/ snow (not that I'm looking forward to the weather).

I would definitely buy these again even thought they don't look as sporty as the Sessanta.

In summary a solid recommendation, I'll be back for more.

Given 93% while driving a Audi A6 Avant S Line Le Mans Quattro 3.0TDi (255/35 R19 W) on mostly town for 100 average miles
These tyres are quieter and more comfortable than the perelli p zeros I had. The ride Is not thumpy unlike the p zero running the same psi. Can't comment on grip yet.

Given 97% while driving a Audi A5 (225/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 6,000 spirited miles
Coming to Vorti from Sessantas means I can now listen to my music while driving on the motorway, even concrete! Halved the noise! And IMHO Sessantas were vg tyres.

Given 94% while driving a Lexus IS250SE (225/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
Excellent tyres, even better than the last sessanta. The wet and damp grip is amazing and dry grip is on par with any of the best road tyres ive used (nearly double the price). Road noise is minimal and they produce zero tramlining compared to the last set of Goodyear asymetric 2`s.

Given 89% while driving a Audi S5 (275/30 R20 W) on mostly motorways for 2,500 spirited miles
Originally my Audi S5 came with Dunlop Sport Maxx, and they where "ok", but always felt bumpy on bad roads, and noisy also.

Now I got 4 Vredesteijn Ultrac Vorti, and the difference is huge:
- much more stickyness, less bumpy
- very good feedback, especially in corners
- much less noise
- sporty and comfortable in one tyre
- very good when wet (no aquaplanning)

Also conmpared to the Continental Sport Contact (2,3 and 5) these Vorti's come out best in my opinion!

Given 100% while driving a SEAT Leon FR tdi (225/40 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 100 spirited miles
ok ive only had these tyres on for a few days after getting rid of the worst tyres ever kaiser but they are amazing they have completely changed the handling of my car and with so much torque to the front wheels my tyres couldnt handle it but these just grip and grip even in the wet i only slightly get wheelspin in 2nd gear whereas i used to get it in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. they are so much quieter on the motorway and now its such an enjoyable ride. as they grip so much its made my car feel quicker, and they look sooo good best looking sidewall on any tyre anywhere. they are very reasonably priced aswell at £97 a tyre from tyremen the only place i could find them i thought it was a bargain.

Given 100% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk6 (225/40 R18) on mostly country roads for 100 average miles
The Vorti is a fantastic tyre from start to finish! The design of the sidewall gives a 'designer tyre' look which compliments the upgraded alloy wheels I have fitted to my vehicle, in heavy rain the tyres cope fantastically and have so far not missed a beat! Would very highly recommend to anyone!
