I change all 4 tyres replacing 3 years old continental premium contact 2 on my nissan. My car really feels more quite and ride like its on the carpet. Really impress with that. Wet performance miles better than the old conti, when go through water puddle, the car stay where it should be. Cons, steering less direct, body roll become more obvious.

Bought these for my 2014 Golf TDI only a week ago so it's early days. I noticed immediately they are much quieter than the Bridgestone Turanza's I had previously. They hold the road well in the dry and as far as comfort is concerned they are exactly what I wanted, the ride is well balance and smooth and the tyres soak up minor road defects without fuss, they are altogether a very good tyre for low noise and comfort. I have only really pushed them hard into a bend at high speed once and I didn't think they gave great feedback but they did not feel as if they would give way. I felt safe and in control but think they will improve after a few hundred miles.
My test drive was over the same route I tried the Turanza's on which included good tarmac roads, poor concrete surfaces and poor quality country lanes. The Turanza's gave a comfortable ride but couldn't cope with different road surfaces being very prone to increased noise on poor surfaces. in contrast the Michelins' didn't suffer from increased noise levels very much at all.
Generally I feel these are great all around tyres which suite my Golf very well and will cope with whatever the roads throw at them. I would certainly buy them again.

good tires, good in wet and dry , less sporty(handling and road feedback) than PS4 I had previously, but better comfort(less noise)

Real touring tire. No compromises to confort. Road feeling is numb and soft in side changes. All you get is quiet silent wheel an you reach speed whithout knowing thats fast! Sonehow mire touring than primacy 3 but with better grip, quieter and good on wet. An improvement but if you want to drive your car and be sporty, stay away.

These tyres need some worn to get the best of them.
In the first 1000 km or so, the steering doesn't seem precise like primacy 3 .
But after that the tyres are fabulous .
I had michelin HP and primacy 3 in the same car, and these beat them by large.

Got these tires already fitted on Saab-original rims I bought. Tires inflated to spec, 2,8 bar.

The 2 Michelins in the front and my old tires from my old rims mounted on the rear.

The Michelins grips well overall and noise levels are good, but the overall impression is bad.

Road feedback and handling is very bad, you have no idea what the front of your car is doing. Feels in a way like the front end isn't connected to the car properly. The lateral stability is very poor.

Very unstable on ruts on motorways and in sidewinds you can feel the front wanting to weer away. It doesn't have to be strong winds even.

Would not recommend.

I've fitted a pair of these Primacy 4 tyres to the front axle of my MB C320 CDI 4Matic. They are quite good for daily driving, with adecuate levels of noise and fuel efficiency. I live in the North of Spain where it rains a lot and the wet grip is also very good. Where they aren't so good is in dry grip. Compared to the previos tyres I had (Continental ContiSportContact 5) they are clearly inferior in ultimate grip. However they are really noble and well behaved close to the limit. You really know when the car is going to understeer. They seem like they can easily last 30k or 40k km (12k to 18k miles) with my driving style (really aggressive at times), the only thing I don't like is that they are showing signs of irregular wear near the external sidewalls and also in the centre of the wheel, next to the big grooves, always on the external-facing side of the rubber. This is clearly from heavy cornering and should not happen with normal driving. All in all a good tyre but not as high performing as the UHP range (Pilot Sport, Assy 3, etc).

Had these installed on my 1998 SLK 230 after my Bridgestone Turanza T001's were worn. I drove those tyres from new and I must say that these Michelins feel much better. Lower noise, better comfort. It gives the car a bit more "floaty" feel, but not in a bad way. Feedback from the tyres is good and they can cope with a pretty high cornering speed, without feeling too soft or unstable, though I must say that the Bridgestones gave better feedback during high speed cornering. But that is something these tyres aren't made for. Can't say anything about the wear yet, because I only drove them for 1000 kilometers.

I purchased a pair of Michelin tyres from Black circle and used one of its tyre fitting centers.
On returning home the tread on my new tyres looked the same as my old tyres on the rear which have done 25000 miles. I contacted black circle after checking with a web review the correct tread depth which was 8mm, They asked me to take the car to have the tread measured, it was 5.6mm. I contacted black circle again, they contacted Michelin and they said the tread should be 7mm +/- 0.4mm. I have spoken to Michelin independently and been told tread depth is not important any more, it how many miles per tyre you get. I have had it suggested by black circle to by 2 new tyres and they will return them to Michelin for review. Not sure who's customer service is the poorest Black circle or Michelin.

I used these to replace my Goodyear efficient grip performance on my astra in the size of 225/50 17 and I can say they outclass the Goodyear's in every way especially wear which the Goodyear's gave out at about 7000 miles of realitvley quick driving where as primacys 4 still got tons of life after same mileage, dry handling is better too, even comparable to 245/45/18s I have on my other astra (exact same model) and wet grip is only slightly out done by the wider goodyear eagle f1s. Comfort is far better as they obsorb bumps better and the sidewalls are slightly stiffer than both the Goodyear's hilariously which means less wallow in corners. Fuel consumption is slightly and I mean very slightly worse on the primacy 4s compared to the efficient grip performance Goodyear's but it's vastly out weighed by positives in every other regard.

So you want excellent grip while maintaining a good fuel econemy and wear get these hands down best tire going.

Need something wider I'd suggest pilot sport 4s.

Quality tires. Very good wet grip and very good response when under pressure. Really premium stuff

Only lasted 26000 miles on front. Happy with performance but not durability. Replacing fronts with Goodyear efficient grip performance, saving £50 fitted on the pair.Will see if there is a difference in durability. Rears (primacy 4 also)were changed at same time and still have at least 4mm tread
