Peugeot 3008 Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Continental ContiCrossContact LX 2 given 52% (225-55-18-)
Driving on mostly town for 30000 average miles
these were OEM tires came with my 2018 peugeot 3008 allure 1.6 blue hdie eat6. I have used them for 6 years for now. I had great handling and good braking performance on dry smooth roads even on high speeds but on the other hand they were really harsh and uncomfortable on rough roads even on low speed. They were NOT labelled as M+S. And I would not recommend these tires on snow as the handling is very poor on snow. Once I suddenly looped going with 30 miles straight on snowy highway while the other cars had no trouble going on the same road. So I stopped and pulled back. Luckily I didn't had an accident. Now I have purchased Continental premium contact7 for summer and I am going to buy new winter tires for the next winter.

Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 average miles
Best winter tyres I have driven yet! They are so soft and comfortable (non run-flat) I love driving my car in the winter more than ever. Responsive, great handling and you never loose control even on snow or ice. I am talking about regular driving in a regular car (not performance and drifting or racing) but a family Peugeot 3008. I have confidence climbing on hills or uphill without doubt.
Previously I had driven Michelins (also not bad but comfort and noise is so much better with these), Sava, Tigar and Sailun. Sotozzero 3 were the absolute best among all my previous tyres. Highly recommended.

Writing about the Riken Riken Snow given 88% (215-65-17-)
Driving on mostly town for 1000 average miles
I had previous experience with Riken winter tires and I was satisfied with that experience and bought them again. However, those tires are lower class, but for the money you invest, you get the best in that price range. For normal city use, they are quite good.

Driving on mostly motorways for 2000 average miles
Never had so bad tyres before. After fitting 2 front tyres I drove about 200 miles on motorway. With speed 60-70 mph I had feeling I'm driving on thin ice (middle of the summer). First I thought it's because the tyres are new. Week later I went abroad for a long journey (1800 miles) the car was very unstable on dry road and I had that nasty feeling I'm driving on ice. After my arrival I just bought different tyres and the problem disappeared. I'm not recommending Nankang econex na-1 tyres and I'll never buy them again.

Writing about the Hankook Winter i cept evo 3 X given 84% (225-55-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1800 easy going miles
Excellent snow tire, tried on fresh snow >20cm, no issues, compact snow no issues, heavy wet snow no issues. Really awesome performance. Great braking, under control and same for traction. No complaints here. On dry and warm days >13c (we have a warm winter), tire started feeling too soft which is expected. Below 4c dry or wet is coming alive as different tire. Believe behaves better on wet than dry on low temperatures and between 0-5c deff better than my summer primacy 4. Comfort similar to primacy 4, no major differences, sounds etc. Road feedback, just above average. Wear is still too early to comment but after 3k KM looks like new. Would deff buy again, were 100e in total cheaper than goodyear/bridgestone/michelin/conti. Great value for money.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Swapped 5 year old Conti CrossContacts with these. Instant improvement in comfort - both noise and smaller imperfections on the road. I stopped complaining about the car's trim. I can say the compound is winter biased as the handling feels progressively slack above 20-25 degC. Consumption is also 0,5lt/100kms higher than previous set. This normalizes as the weather gets cooler. No snow experience yet. Only used a CC1 set on a 308 on snow. Don't have any devices to measure anything but there was nothing to complain about. CC2s are supposedly better. In any case, grip is significantly higher. I don't drive aggressively but occasional wheels spins and skids are quite rare now. I would buy again without second thought if I lived in a cooler climate but worth re-visiting reviews if resident in a mild+ climate. My car is a crossover, so basically a heightened C-compact but still it bothers me that Michelin can suggest both regular and the SUV version. Can't find a detailed comparison. I wonder if the SUV version would help with slack handling in summer.

Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 average miles
Petlas has now been in use for over three months and is really pleased. Grip properties are good, quiet tire if the road surface is smooth. I bought again because cheap and good.

Tyres arrived with the Car from the factory. lasted 2 years and 20000miles , and not in a great condition at all.. wear condition is very high , and the tyre became dry after a year and a half. almost all of them are dry (even thaw i park in the shade) and are not grippy at all.

Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 average miles
I've been using it for 2 months about 2000 miles and, it's an incredibly comfortable tire. I'm not sure about the noise after blizzak lm005 tyre(maybe it is good about noise also), but the performance of absorbing road is very successful, extremely comfortable.

Driving on mostly motorways for 25000 easy going miles
Excellent tires, 33k KH and it behaves excellent, very neutral on the road no understeer or oversteer. Very confident on all conditions but on wet seems is a bit slippery but nothing to worry. Wear is excellent, it started showing a bit of wear on the side but nothing on the main thread. I would keep it for another year (3rd) and most probably I will be around 55k KH and I am planning to change it. From the wear till now I do not expect any issue to reach this milestone. Would I buy it again ? Not sure depends, is an excellent tyre but pricy, I can find conti or Goodyear for less and I will get most probably same behaviour… if next year I find it in a similar price to the other two I will choose it again otherwise will be the cheaper of those 3 manufacturers.
