Driving on mostly motorways for 15000 average miles
Audi a6 2.7tdi fwd 15000 miles all motorway/ country roads, front were worn down so much there was no tread left rears had about 4-5mm thread left, for the price paid they lasted well nearly half the price of some Michelin's. Road noise and comfort were good, only fault was at speeds above 90 the steering wheel had slight vibration, had them balanced properly and tracked but guess its just the tires. Dry grip is fine unless you take sharp country road bends at 60 mph but wet grip was really bad, taking slight bends at 40mph and the car would sometimes loose grip. overall they are perfect for city driving, but for anything above 50mph and not in a straight line or in the rain get some better brand tires, the difference is night and day, ive had Pirelli centurato p7, p0 rosso, michelin pilot sports on this car and out of all the p0 rosso's and the michelins were perfect.

Had them as OEM for Audi A6/S-Line/Lemans/2.7 TDI .. changed them now will all 4 new from tyreshopper which is a bargain compared to kwikfit around 200 £+ difference .
The response and speed is very good. All the way grip and cornering is excellent.

Driving on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
Let me begin by saying I have only owned the car for 1 month and it came with some worn out Bridgestone on the front and and worn Michelin's on the rear. I used this as part of the haggle. Handling was unusual to say the least. When you are looking to replace all tyres with a potential spend of £500+ you do some research. I had the chance to get 4 Goodyear EfficientGrip's for a very good price and of course you are suspicious. I read reviews, researched prices but had to go for them. I have had them fitted and what a difference, quiet, positive feedback, good handling with the potential of saving some money on fuel as well. As with all tyres they are better when warm but I gave them a good thrash on some local country roads the other night and it was like a different car. At this early stage I have little to compare them with on this car but so far I would recommend them. I made a point of noting how the other tyres handled before and after the change. I also looked to note the jelly like feel described by other reviewers and in all honesty I cannot feel it. After fitting I checked all tyre pressures and set them exactly to Audi's recommended psi and these tyres are spot on. I will come back and review these tyres next autumn when I have used them for 6 months to report mpg and wear but first impressions count and I am pleased. I think I will take the car out fora Sunday morning thrash just to check them again now:)
