I had 4 of these fitted this morning and to begin with over the first 10-15 miles I was disappointed, was like I was on ice!!! Today has been a damp day and the roads are very greasy, but as I pulled out of the tyre centre and accelerated, I had no traction just spinning the wheels!!! A few miles on and the tyres have improved, but still not great in the damp/greasy conditions!! I had 4 Toyo Proxes R32's removed and they were down to 2-3mm and were great in all conditions, predictable and you knew where you were with them!!! The Accelera's are good for price, but I cannot comment on wear or if I'd buy again as I've had them less than 24hrs!!! They don't give any warning signs of letting go, but aren't totally numb in feedback!! Progressiveness is not a strong point, the limit is a fine line!! On minute your ok then bang, your under steering and spinning the wheels up!! These will be a tester for me as I've never had these budget tyres before, always Pirelli, Dunlop, Michelin, Goodyear or Toyo but they do seem a lot quieter than the toyo's!!! I'm a family man and as long as my wife feels safe when driving then that's fine, but when alone I'm a spirited driver and these are not for the faint hearted!! On a regular stretch of short straights and 3 roundabouts that I use they were all over the place, unlike the toyo's, but maybe this will slow me down a bit and that might not be a bad thing!!! I will come back and edit or add more to this once I have put a couple of thousand miles on them in all weathers and will give opinions on the wear and how they handle once worn in!!! But I can say for normal, safe and steady day to day driving they are perfectly fine!!!! They are directional which i think helps with noise and comfort and also have a rim protector built in too!!!
