Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 Reviews - Page 6

Given 100% while driving a SEAT Ibiza Cupra 20VT (205/40 R17) on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
A fantastic tyre so much better than the pirelli p zero Nero where the p zero was noisy hard riding and rubbish in the wet and didn't last long.the hankooks are just amazing so quiet i am getting hardly any tyre noise at well past normal speeds they are much more comfortable as well my car is lowered but these make the ride so much better and the grip is brilliant wet or dry and they are supposed to wear better than uni rs3 (result) I would recommend these tyres to anyone who wants a quiet grippy tyre that's cheaper than the competition

I had hankooks on my l last Citroen c5 car and I was impressed. Now I have just replaced 2 Bridgestone on my Saab 93 Aero ttid with these and the difference is amazing. They are really quiet. They grip well in wet and dry. I will definitely get another set when the time comes.

Given 87% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 Vector cabriolet 150 (225/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 1,000 average miles
I really rate these _ I stuck the F1s on the back and got these Evo2s on the front to replace some ditchfinders. Really impressed. Only been on 1k miles so far but I find them better in the wet than the F1s and a quieter and more confortable tyre

Given 96% while driving a Mazda RX8 (245/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1,500 spirited miles
I have an '05 Mazda RX-8 MT. I have recently swapped to Hankook's from Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas. The Hankooks are superior to every aspect except progressiveness. These tyres won't spin at all, I can finally launch the car uphill without the tyres spinning on the spot, like the Vredesteins did! They inspire more confidence, they look cool, they seem to wear fine, the wear rate is good. I have driven the car in snow, rain, and sunny, pretty hot days! And I can easily say, they don't compromise safety on any surface or weather! They are just as comfortable as my Vredesteins were! Would sure buy them again!

Given 90% while driving a Smart roadster (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Dry grip and braking is excellent. Wet braking is excellent beyond belief for a summer tyre. Comfortable tyre and pretty quiet also. I have driven Bridgestone potenza r050, Falken FK452, Yoko C and S , toyo T1R, Kumho KH31 so far and this tyre beats all of them in all aspects of the game apart from the precision on the limit. Unfortunately i cannot comment on the wear yet

It feels like a TOYO TIR but 2 steps ahead in everything.

Given 89% while driving a Ford Focus (215/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Had toyo proxes before although dry grip good wet was wanting, Hankook recommended by regular tyre firm, would to have good dry grip but excellent wet grip, now finding other cars getting in my way down lanes as can carry speed through corners safely with confidence and excellent feed back

Given 91% while driving a Ford Focus ST MP260 (225/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 9,000 average miles
these tyres have turned out to be a really good buy, ive tried pretty much all of the premium tyres and on ly got about 10-13k out of them, these guys have 9k on them at the moment and are still going strong a really good buy. My only small issue is the side wall is a little soft but that is a very small niggle, i would recommend these tyres all day long

Given 80% while driving a Peugeot 207 GTI (225/45 R17 V) on mostly motorways for 23,000 average miles
I cant believe they lasted me 23000 miles on the front! as I don't drive like a grandad in my GTI, the car does under steer when pushed, but then it's a standard GTI and I think the 207 isn't the best handling car in the world noise wise nothing intrusive no whining at speed overall pretty good for the price
