Got a pair of these for my really old Vectra sri. It's the much more expensive than its rivals but i know its wear rate is brilliant and it's one of the best tyres for this class. Makes the car much more confident at wet braking.

Got sold a pair of Firehawk by the Vauxhall dealer for almost the same price as the Michelins. Gutted.

Really impressed with these tyres, road noise quieter, and the wear is superb, I changed these tyres after 33,000 miles and they were still legal! Worth paying that bit extra.

Superb. I changed a to full set of these tyres on my A Class and its like I'm driving a different car. They are so much more comfortable, grippy and quieter than my previous Kumho/Semperit combination.

As for the energy saving characteristics - I would estimate that I'm getting c.3% better fuel consumption and as evidence, the car will rolls from stationary on even the slightest incline that it did not do before.

You will pay more for these tyres by Michelin claim that between the fuel saving and the extra road life they will cost in. I have no doubt that this is true.

Here in South Africa the roads aren’t always well maintained and you might find yourself needing to replace tires more often than you would expect elsewhere, due to potholes. I have driven through some nasty potholes and was impressed with the Michelin Energy Saver’s durability. I have never ended up with any damage to the sidewall. What impressed me even more was the wear. I have been driving with these tires for just over 100,000km (66,600 miles), mostly on motorways and at relatively low speed (approximately 110km/h or 73mph). I would suggest these tires to anyone. Only negative in my books is the cost. In South Africa the cost of the Michelin Energy Savers is in the region of R1,400 per tire, where you would expect to pay around R900 per tire for Goodyear EfficientGrip.

An excellent tire from Michelin on all surfaces. Only complaint is that its bit slippery on zebra crossings but almost every single tire i have been used had the same problem . I highly recommend this tire for Skoda Superb 2 with 2.0 TDI CR engine.

This is a first time ever I've made a review but thought the Michelin Energy savers were worth telling everyone about. My wife drives our car on a daily 45 mile round trip inc Dual carriageway, Welsh hills and around town, I was astonished to find that the mpg has increased from 54.6 mpg to 61.3 mpg. Had the tyres fitted by ATS at £345 inc vat + £4 for nitrogen fill. I recently drove on the motorway and achieved 70+ mpg. I cannot comment on road handling etc as I'm not a professional driver but I found the car to be smoother & exeptionally quieter than the cheap tyres. This is my findings & comments, I'm not a salesman or working for Michelin !!!

Bought four new Michelin Energy Savers to replace terrible Bridgestones that only lasted 10k and slipped at every opportunity. These tyres are a world apart - exceptionally quiet but very efficient when braking and cornering. The only downside is that there isn't as much feedback from the road as I had from my old tyres, but they feel very controlled even when tested through corners so it's a price I'm prepared to pay. Very negligible wear even after being driven hard for 6k miles.

My tires have 55,000 miles and there is still 1 mm before the witness at the front and 2 mm at the rear. Good tire wear and rolling resistance. No particular problem on wet roads.

I have always had budget tyres, BUT when i did a review on them i was really shocked!,As soon as i drove off with the new tyres you can notice how much grip you have and how quite they are, i spent a long time reviewing tyres on here and the michelins are the best you can get for safety and price. i will be putting them on my other car soon (picasso),

Even though the car was a heap of rubbish, i replaced the budgets that were on it with these as i do alot of miles. The handling changed dramatically, especially in the wet where i could throw it round corners and it would not lose grip. Fronts last about 22000. Rears around 38000.

I bought these to replace the Continental 4x4s on the front of my car that died after 12000 miles. The old tyres had very poor grip and would often spin when climbing wet/muddy/snow-covered steepish roads resulting in the tread rapidly wearing out. The old tyres also seemed to produce a lot of tourque steer.

The Michelins almost never lost grip even in packed snow! The car felt much more in control with very little if any torque steer. The car's fuel economy improved but also the tyres lasted for 37000 miles!!!

I replaced the michelins with a set of Pirellis which have behaved just like the Continentals and also resulting in an accident due to loss of grip on snow.

I now need a new set of tyres and will definately be purchasing another set of the Michelins. The fact that they lasted 3 times as long is worth 6 tanks of fuel!!!
