dry grip you cant fault unless you got the hammer down in the rain however absolutly shocking doing 30mph round corners and it slides breaking in wet it slide rain is a no go with these tires would not buy again!!

I found these tires ok in the dry and no noisier or less comfortable than other tires I have had fitted. The downfall of these tires is without doubt the lack of grip in the wet. I understeer everywhere and it doesn't take much at all to get the traction controll light flashing. They have worn ok but I'll be relieved to get rid of them due to the fact if I forget to be extra cautious in the wet I am quickly reminded by drifting towards the nearest ditch.

these tyres seem ok but had trouble with them at first because the tyre fitters had trouble balancing,it took 3 times to get it right.good allround grip.

Given 77% while driving a Holden 1998 VT HSV Clubsport 5.0 litre (235/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 30,000 spirited miles
I fitted 4 of these tyres to my HSV Clubsport 5.0 litre manual which I drive extremely hard. This car is lowered 30mm below standard height and wheel aligned to hsv specs.The car wears tyres to an even showing of wearbars. I first fitted toyos to the car which lasted only 10,000km front and rear. I then changed to acceleras and found them to be an excellent tyre in the dry but too slippery in the dry. I had made the mistake of running them far too low pressure(35psi)giving me much less NVH and better dry grip. This just tore the inner and outer edges off the tyres in 10,000 km leaving me with full tread depth in the centres. Now I have fitted my second set. I now run 44psi and this has drasticaly changed things for the better. Now the wear patterns are very good, edges are staying intact and the grip in the wet is superb. NVH is increased but its a Clubsport,its not supposed to be too comfortable. I love these tyres and $A540.00 per set fitted and balanced is amazing. I drive this car to the max and these tyres perform as good as the expensive Potenza S02s that i previously had on it. I am expecting 20,000km on this set which I will be very satisfied with.

ive had this tyre for 15000 miles since they were passed down to me from my dad. (he liked cornering at 30-40 here n then round blind corners so they did well for him)

thank god it has a decent tread pattern. dont remember aquaplaining when when driving to worchester at an average of 90+ for 3 hours in heavy wind and rain. good grip taking 2nd exits at 50.

squeals a lot when u push it and i killed an alloy when it gave up on me half way through a turn ...it was dry and dusty but at 35ish, should have held it's own. didnt burst the tyre tho and it only lost 2 psi..??!

i'ave had them for 15000 miles of hard cornering and wild standing starts and th fronts still have around 3mm+! rears r like new at 7mm+ so good for wear. prob because they're so dam hard and you feel everything u go over!

I drive a taxi full-time at night. I had read about these tyres in a magazine called Wheels, which is published here in Australia. If you Google search then you'll find the review on the CarPoint.com.au web site.

My taxi had a dry weight of around 1,7000kg. Summers here are long and dry, so when it does start raining the roads get extremely slippery due to the oil build-up from the dry months.

I was extremely impressed with the traction that I got in wet conditions with these tyres. I went through two complete sets from June 2010 until February 2011 and would love to continue using them. I was using 235/45R17 97W tyres, so maybe the higher load rating made a difference.

Unfortunately, they are not available in a suitable 18" size that will fit the rims that I am about to start using, so now I have to find another option. I would stick with the Alpha tyres if they had a suitable size.

I have spent years riding and racing motorbikes, so I'm well familiar with throwing a vehicle around. I used to push my taxi extremely hard on certain roads with these tyres and never lost control.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews of these tyres. Maybe there was some change in the manufacturing process? Don't know... just wish they were available in a 235/40ZR18 size so that I could stick with them. At this stage I'll be trying out some Neuton NT5000 tyres (which are made by the same company).

Given 81% while driving a Land Rover freelander (225/55 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
These tyres were fitted new when I bought the car in early January. They replaced worn out Michelin Synchrones. Was not sure about getting budget tyres fitted for free and nearly paid the £75/tyre difference to get Land Rover recommended tyres fitted. Up to now I can't fault them. I have done a mixture of daily driving on dry, very wet and frosty roads including several two hour motorway journeys at 80+ mph. I also go shooting and they have handled all the muddy farm tracks, hill descent control and three point turns in five inches of slurry. I measured 9mm of tread when new. So far I can't fault them as I have never had any others and can get them for £75 fitted. Would definately buy them again.

Given 81% while driving a Toyota ALPHARD 3.0 MZG (215/60 R16) on mostly town for 15,000 average miles
accelera tires has been treating me and my family very nice so far. I have it on my Toyota and Mercedes. This tire is our local tire and having said that, it is imperative to mention the road condition in our country is mostly bumpy and highly decorated with sharp edged potholes. Thus, having budget tires like accelera is most suitable for the road condition. Performance wise, they are superb for the price we pay. Don't compare it to the premium brand, but to Nankang or Maxxis, accelera is my choice.

I had them fitted to my 2006 Audi S4 Avant and was very sceptical at first. Having said that 10,000 miles later I had completely changed my mind as I could not reaaly fault them. Since then I have had them fitted to my 1999 Porsche 996 (saved £650) and my wifes 2006 Audi TT. No ditches no hairy moments and a comfortable ride with acceptable wear levels that more than compensate for the loss in mileage compared to more expensive tyres. Reading the reviews below I could not really say that there was any noticeable difference in either wet or dry handling compared to the Pirelli's and Dunlop's prevoiusly fitted. I should say that I am no "Test Pilot" and that I was not using them on track days... just every day driving!

OK in the dry, not so good in the wet. Better than expected on snow (and ice). Fitted to the car when I bought it. Felt twitchy at first but I got used to the flex in the sidewalls. Once settled into the turn, grip is actually quite good in the dry (bearing in mind I'm talking about an Espace 4!).

Perhaps these are better suited to RWD cars. I'm on my 2nd set on a large saloon car and find them quite good. They are, after all, a "budget tyre" but seem to handle well. Perhaps geometry setup plays a big part too as I have recently changed the track rod ends for an MOT and the handling is slightly worse than it was before. Needs another full setup to give a fair comparison though. I found them quite capable in the snow/ice as long as consideration was given to the conditions.

Do not buy these if you own a Mondeo. I would recommend them to nobody except, someone wanting to use them only during the summer in very dry conditions. There lethal on ice and frost, the car will pull all over the place and spin and slip on the smallest amount of ice, but yet strangely their ok on fresh snow and lightly packed snow. Their useless on a slightly damp surface when taking off the wheels will spin and lose grip for nothing like bald tyres. I had these tyres on the car for just over 2 weeks and had to get them changed as they were turning me into a nervous wreck. Luckly the place I bought them was willing to change them for a set of Goodyears and I just had to pay the differnce in value as I was a regular customer, and as they had recommended them. These tyres are supposedly made by Dunlop but dont be fooled if a tyre retailer tells you this, as Dunlop could surely not make a tyre this bad and stay in business as long as they have, they are made by Elangperdana tyres Indonesia and the tyre designers seemed to be more interested in, incororating the Eagle into the tyre tread design than anything else (which is seemly symbol of the company). The only positive thing I would say was that MPG seemed to go up when they were on the car or maybe that was just because I had to drive so slowly while I had them.
