Barum Bravuris 2 Reviews - Page 10

Given 81% while driving a Ford Fiesta (195/45 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 7,000 easy going miles
Bought these to replace the scary Hankooks in the wet!! The Barum's were recommended by a guy in a garage - I was sceptical at first but read a few reviews and went for it. I was not disappointed! Perhaps not as good as the Hankooks in the dry - not as much feedback or as good rolling resistance - but this is more than outweighed by the great wet weather confidence they give. Worn pretty well and performed admirably the last few weeks in the snow and ice. Definitely be buying them again!!

Nice tire, priced right, quality is very good! America's Discount Tires recommended, and I agree.

More noisy than the previous Michelin tyres they replaced. Occasional have an odd imprecise feel in a gentle curve which can be off putting.

Only had them fitted as a "equivalent" when they were supplied through National.

225/45ZR17s : The BMW dealer fitted these before I bought the car second-hand. Tyres were ok for around town and straight line driving, but side walls too soft for cornering. Noise level was very good.
I replaced these after 3000 miles with Goodyear Eagle F1s and the transformation in handling was like night versus day. The Barum is not a high performance handling tyre.

Just got these tyres and they are looking very good. They are a lot quiter than the Kuhmo 31 i had on before. Good turn in and makes driving easy.Dry and wet handling are very good. Good tyre for the price.

Given 84% while driving a Renault Cilo 1.2 Extreme (195/50 R15 V) on mostly town for 1,000 spirited miles
I have just bought a full set of these continental/barum tyres and i have to admit that at first i was uncomfortable as i had not heard of barum before but the garage where i used to work highly reccomended them. I previously had a set of toyo t1r's on and they were great, and these . . . even better!

Given 61% while driving a Skoda Fabia vRS (205/45 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 17,000 average miles
Reasonable tyre, fairly progressive grip on the limits, however seem to offer quite a high rolling resistance - fuel consumption is less favourable than previous.
Will be replacing with KU31 very shortly, far better tyre for the price.
