Good grip in the dry. Requires a bit of heat in them to stick better but too much heat and they slip. Decent grip in wet but i wouldnt push it.

Replaced my worn Yokohama Advan sports with these tyres. Immediately I felt the softness of the sidewall compared to Advan sports. Grip in the dry and wet were good with decent ride comfort. High speed stability were bad above 120km/h with lots of minor tweeking to the steering wheel to keep the car going straight. Initially thought the alighnment were bad and made a check on the alighnment, but problem persist and finally decided to swap it for Toyo C1S and problem is gone.

These are excellent value for money tyres and I've tried Toyo T1Rs, Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD# (great in wet but not so hot elsewhere), Bridgestone 050, etc. All of these tyres cut out on the front outside shoulders (and yes I get the alignment done regularly). I'll replace the RE001 set with another they are so good - something I haven't done before

A great all round tyre and very good feedback in the dry. Not as good a wet weather performer as some previous tyres I've used like the Michelin Pilot Sports but still very progressive and easy to read and control. Much better wear than similar performers and really came into it's element on a few track days. A bit noisy on rough highways surfaces but this is well outweighed by the positive points. Definitely one of the better tyres short of a semi-slick at the track. Off to buy another set today.

Bang for buck these are a great tyre. I remain unimpressed by the level of road noise compared to a similar specced Toyo tyre but that is the only complaint and in fairness the XR6 Falcons have always suffered road noise issues anyway.

this tyre need warm-up.....fail during rain.... aquaprofiling is to much....the only good this about this tyre is the wear and tear....it can last forever....

These are one of the best bang for buck tyres out there at the moment. I'm running them on the rear of my Altezza RS200. Grip in the wet & dry is very impressive. They're very progressive especially the wet & I feel safe throwing the car around on the open road. (I haven't had this much grip in the wet since my Michelin Pilot Precedas.)They're far superior to the Potenza GIII I had on my previous car.
Some might find the road noise on coarse chip a bit annoying but it's not that bad.

On my second set now, first set lasted about 20,000miles. Overall very happy with these tyres. Good outright dry grip and nicely progressive. In the wet they are still relatively progressive but will let go when driving ham-fisted. Tyre roar on rough surfaces is par for the course when you want decent grip. Recommended for sure.

So after 10,000 miles or 16000 kms on rubbish NZ roads with coarse mix, these tyres have done very well. Excellent turn in and very chatty compared to my previous Toyo Proxes CT01. Good initial bite when cornering and very steady without requiring steering corrections. Have worn down to nearly half after 10,000 miles but very spirited and very poor roads are probably to count for that. Can be noisy but that is the price to pay for outright grip.

Compared to the re050a I found them quieter, better wearing and more comfortable. Dry grip is on par, but not as good in the wet or as progressive. It is a better under braking and much more compliant. The reo50a is awesome and provides better feedback and has a nice sharp turn in, but can be a bit harsh and skid over bumps when cornering hard. The re001 is provides more grip over bumpy roads wears better and is cheaper.
