Tread wear rated at 140, after 5000 miles down to 5mm, The Touareg is a big 4x4 so spirited driving isnt really the norm, i am fairly easy going driving motorways and around town, have tried pushing around thou and felt safe even in a 4x4. The car came with these, but i wouldnt by again, looking at general grabber uhp or Hankook which have reported 30k without any significance changed in comfort, grip etc.

Got em with the car with about 50% tread. Useless in the wet. Pretty decent in the dry though. They felt ok and didn't cause too much noise but the lack of grip towards the end of the tyre is bad and had my traction control working overtime.

These tyres came as standard on my Seat Ibiza Sport and after 19000 miles I've already gone through 4 of them. I had a couple of what seemed to be minor punctures which ended up needing replacement tyres at around ?130 each. I made the mistake of getting the same tyres and after around 15000 miles the front tyres need replacing. As someone else has said on their review, they don't hold pressure too well, they are very noisy and they wear down very quickly. I'm going for some Pirelli PZero Neros next time after reading the reviews!! They're a lot cheaper and a lot better by the sounds of it.

Generally happy, except wore out quickly

The ER30's were great in the wet and dry until about 20000 miles. Then, they dried up and cracks appeared around the side walls. I tried everything to revive these tyres, even keeping them pumped up to the correct air pressure constantly. Considering their exorbitant price, they just didn't last long at all and would be happier going back to Continental tyres which are priced just the same.

Front Tyres lasted 16,000 miles, the rear 22,000. Hard and noisy ride. Have been driving over 40 years but these have worn out the before any others, albeit different cars. Had the Company record for most miles on my tyres which indicates my driving profile.

Bought the car brand new at the dealership and it came with the Bridgestone Turanza 215/60/16's. The front tires went bald before hitting 30,000 miles. The rear ones were just months behind in terms of wear. Traded these in for Michelin 225/50/16 Pilot Exaltos. I had good wear with the Michelin's before and never had a problem with the sidewalls.

It would seem that Toyota put the Bridgestone's on just to get the car out of the showeroom. I was very disappointed with the number or miles that they yielded.

These are one of the two stock tires for an X5 w/ 19" sport package. They have a wear rating that is 140 which is generous for the fronts as they will last more then 30,000 miles (probably closer to 50,000), but not applicable for the rears which will last 22,000 - 25,000 max. The rear tire inside edge wear is very significant due to the camber and as a result impacts their performance in wet conditions significantly. You'll most likely need to change the rear's one extra time as compared to the fronts. They are definitely high performance tires and inspire confidence in the dry, but a little on the loud side and not the most comfortable tires to run on. Next time I will get the Michelin Diamaris and compare the two and update my ratings accordingly.

Very good tyres, never had any slips or slides, they always make you feel you could have gone faster. Good wear but they havn't been used hard. Very noisy, you have to raise your voice in the cabin to talk over them on anything but the smoothest roads. Concrete is terrible.

Good touring tyre. Dry grip pretty good and good ride quality. Wet grip average but poor in very cold damp conditions. Tyre noise low.

Would not maintain contstand pressure, causing scrubbing edges.
harsh vibrations at highway speeds.
Lasted 20,000 miles. A standard "new car" cheapie tyre.
