I purchased this 2013 Toyota Presara with 50,000 kms on the clock, one owner, showroom condition . it had just had 4 new COOPER 225 / 60 - R 17 fitted. For those of you out there will find the steering on this model a little finicky, there is a mod' done on the front near side geometry, I believe they kick the caster angle forward a little to stop the small pull to left caused by road camber. But now to the main issue, I drove the car from Perth to Kalgoorlie, the nightmare began, just could not keep the car going straight ahead. pulled into a tyre shop at Southern Cross and had steering geometry re-checked, spot on, swapped front wheels to rear, to no avail, now started increasing tyre pressure by 5 degree increments, from 36psi to 60psi,found a better go ahead effect at 60 psi but way to rough. Traded in the COOPERS for MICHELIN - 215/ 55-R17 PRIMACY 4, an extraordinary improvement. Going to try some MICHELIN 225/60-17 PRIMACY 4 now. Keep you posted. Oh by the way what a wonderful car, just goes to show there is more to tyres than meets the eye.
