Toyota aurion Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Cooper CS5 Grand Touring given 18% (225-60-17-)
Driving on mostly town for 18 average miles
I purchased this 2013 Toyota Presara with 50,000 kms on the clock, one owner, showroom condition . it had just had 4 new COOPER 225 / 60 - R 17 fitted. For those of you out there will find the steering on this model a little finicky, there is a mod' done on the front near side geometry, I believe they kick the caster angle forward a little to stop the small pull to left caused by road camber. But now to the main issue, I drove the car from Perth to Kalgoorlie, the nightmare began, just could not keep the car going straight ahead. pulled into a tyre shop at Southern Cross and had steering geometry re-checked, spot on, swapped front wheels to rear, to no avail, now started increasing tyre pressure by 5 degree increments, from 36psi to 60psi,found a better go ahead effect at 60 psi but way to rough. Traded in the COOPERS for MICHELIN - 215/ 55-R17 PRIMACY 4, an extraordinary improvement. Going to try some MICHELIN 225/60-17 PRIMACY 4 now. Keep you posted. Oh by the way what a wonderful car, just goes to show there is more to tyres than meets the eye.

Writing about the Hankook OPTIMO K415 given 50% (215-55-17-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 0 easy going miles
Please do not buy this tyre, Hankook claims are not true, warranty is not worth what is written, my wore out barely 17k mostly freeway driving and not what they claim. Also purchased 6 hankook tyres for a small truck, ten years ago and only lasted 12 months. Hankook has lost me as a customer.

Duran tyre the best tyre for everyday use and I like this tyre due to its durability. It has been around 50000 km that I am using this tyre. This set of tyres has improved the mileage of my Car it’s a very good tyre with an excellent road grip.

Driving on mostly motorways for 10000 average miles
Easily the worst tyre I have ever purchased. Done 10,000 km and already just about shot. In the wet on a slight uphill the tyres spin like crazy and I can only get traction when I lower the revs to almost stalling. They are dangerous and are a wasye of money because I will not get a year out of them. Rubbish and should not be on the market.

Driving on mostly town for 100 average miles
Excellent tyre. Turn-in, handling, road feel and comfort have all increased. Noticed lower tyre noise straight after leaving Bob Jane. Drive a heavy in the nose V6 Toyota Camry 2015/55/17 (Previous tyres were Bridgestone P100 which were only fitted by dealer to get through rego check so these are a big improvement). Will definitely purchase again.

Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 average miles
I had duran tyres before I had nexen su1 put on front. The handling is good, braking is good, and so far the wearing is good. As it is still to early to rave about them I will give them the thumbs up. My presara is quieter on the road with positive traction

The Marangoni Verso XL is a magnificent tyre for long distance driving and gives great performance; I will definitely buy again when I need to replace my current batch. Garry Spears

Writing about the Bridgestone Turanza ER300 given 33% (215-55-17-)
Driving on mostly town for 18650 average miles
Has done only 18650 miles and it is ready to be replaced.
Noticable wear when usage was under 5000 miles.
Regularly rotated the tires, checked and maintained tyre pressure every week
Noisy while driving no where as good as Bridgestone ER592 on my other car
Easily punctures, maybe due to the soft compound.
Not happy with these tyres. I dont know why I bought them.
