Given 91% while driving a Porsche Boxter S (235/35 R19) on mostly country roads for 5,000 spirited miles
I bought a second hand boxter s and Davanti came on the car when I bought it, there is staggered sizes front and back, I usually drive on continentals and I can not notice the difference, the tyres are doing everything the continentals do on my other car, the grip in the wet is outstanding and overal handling is fantastic, was told I was meant to put N rated tyres on this car but I am going to keep the davanti tyres on as I can not fault them.

I was a bit apprehensive when I first bought the tyres as I hadn't heard of the brand before, but the garage said they were a new brand and he's been really impressed by them (he had them on his own Octavia). This is the first set of tyres I have bought for this car (2012 VW Passat) and they were replacing Avon which I assume didn't come with the car from new as it's got fairly high mileage. I've had them on now for coming up to 1000 miles and so far they are great, they don't look like they've lost any tread. I didn't really have anything to complain about with the Avons at the time, but theres definitely more grip from these tyres. There hasn't been any torrential rain just yet, but they've been good in the "damp". They do seem really quiet, I've seen seen people say they were quiet when I read the reviews on here and I'd agree, they seem a bit more "comfortable" than the Avons. I don't drive particularly aggressively so I can't comment on what they're like at the limit, so I just marked them middle of the road. So far so good, happy with my purchase

Given 41% while driving a MINI Cooper S (205/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 8,000 spirited miles
I can't believe these tyres get such high reviews. Utter garbage. In the dry they're adequate at best but not very progressive and understeer, tramlining and instability over white lines and cats eyes are the order of the day. In the wet? Hideous (actually, dangerous). I drive a Mini Cooper SD and I can't believe how bad these are. They'll be getting thrown in the bin soon where they belong. The only positive to these is that in 9k miles they don't look like they've worn - probably due to the lack of grip they offer. Honestly, £40 Arrowspeed very budget tyres are better.

Given 93% while driving a Volkswagen Golf MK6 1.6 tdi (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 6,000 spirited miles
Bought these tyres on advice from my local tyre depot as i wanted something in the middle range bracket, had toyo on before, the difference was night and day, these are excellent in the wet and dry, didn't notice the noise levels as apparently they were meant to be quieter than the toyo i had on before but this doesn't bother me, i have covered around 6000 miles and have around 5 - 6mm left on front and back, i got the tread checked with local depot when i got a puncture, was quite surprised as they told me the tread starts at 8mm, i have also put these tyres on my wife's bmw 2254018 on the front, can not fault them at all, great value for money, especially with the life time guarantee which covers for potholes etc. Would certainly buy again

Given 34% while driving a Ford Mondeo (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 8,000 average miles
Initial impressions were fine. Dry grip is nothing special and they are a bit noisy. Wet grip is poor and the car feels twitchy at motoway speeds in the wet. I do lots of miles and 8000 miles in 4.5 months the wear doesn't look took great. Even for economy tyres these aren't up to the job. I can't wait to get rid of them.

Rubbish.

Given 90% while driving a Audi A3 TDI SLine Quattro 181bhp (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 4,000 average miles
I made the change from Continental CSC5s to Davanti DX640s. Impressions after 4,000 miles, very impressed! Excellent wet grip, able to maintain road grip without wheel spinning and traction control kicking in which is brilliant considering the amount of rain we have had this winter! After giving the tyres a good bedding in, they handle very well in dry conditions. Can't fault the grip and cornering even with power down. Very impressed, quiet tyre with brilliant performance in both the wet and dry. Will definitely buy again!

Given 79% while driving a Ford Mondeo Titanium X Sport (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
I deliberated for ages on these tires but in the end i went for 640DX ×4 ON 235,55,18.
Instantly noticed they were whisperingly quiet,
They are very responsive and feel well planted,
Pretty much straight away i noticed they feel a little twitchy at 3 figure speeds and want to completly let go in the wet at these figures(scary).
Driven on normally they are great but dont like being pushed in the wet i find.
I am on 10000 miles now and i reckon about 3.5 mm left on the fronts and rears look new still.

Would i recommend them?
Yes if you take it steady in the wet and want a quiet ride.

Given 88% while driving a Mazda 6 (225/45 R18 V) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Early doors with these but I am really impressed with the wet grip. These tyres are the best tyres I have ever used in the wet.
Very low road noise, bags of grip and a nice steering feel.
I normally go for the big names brands but these tyres should be making the big boys worry both with their low cost and exceptional handling.
Wear is yet to be determined but I place safety above all else and these tyres certainly feel very safe. I have had bad tyres in my time for the same cost of these and these are as good if not better than some of the very well known premium brands. I won't hesitate to get another set and in fact I am looking at getting these for my wife's car soon.
