Very good tyre in the dry, they're very good In the wet all the time you're moving. I can often wheel spin in the wet if briskly pulling away. Probably not qui
te worth the money, I'll probably go Falken ZE914 for my next set as they're quite a bit cheaper.

Excellent tyre. Renault Clio III 1,6 . After the first 3000 Km , the tyres are superb. The feeling is lively, the dry grip is awesome, yet the best feature is undoubtedly the wet grip; never experienced that much grip on wet. No score for wear yet.

I did quite a lot of research before investing in these tyres as I wanted something better than the Dunlop SP1 tyres they replaced.

The difference was immediate and the level of grip in cold and damp conditions was very marked. They were also quieter than the originals.

I cannot comment on wear at the moment, however they are allegedly pretty good and more fuel efficient as well!

The grooves on these are wider than I was expecting, so maybe hot weather grip may suffer a little but will need to wait for the summer to know on that.

Softer than pilot sport's they replaced. Wet cornering is excellent these tyre's give you confidence to push on where as before you might hesitate due to feeling grip would not be there. Also ride more comfortably.

Given 97% while driving a Saab Automobile Vector Sport (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 50 spirited miles
Compelled to write review as noticed immediate difference in the way car handles. The vehicle seems to stick to the road in both wet & dry conditions improving noise level too. Being a soft tyre only concer will be how they wear during winter? But in all honesty so far so good no complaints. Will mention having stuck to budget tyres previously on my Saab 93 Vector Sport every aspect of ride has a noticeable improvement with Dunlop Sport Maxx RT!

I bought these tyres on the strength of the reviews on here and elsewhere. I have not been disappointed. These tyres are quiet and comfortable and have bags of grip in the dry. Wet grip, however, was not as good as I was expecting. I've had Vredestein Sportrac 3 and Uniroyal RainSport 2 tyres before, and they were both better in the wet, all the way down to 2mm. Currently, the Dunlops are on 4-5mm and the wet handling/cornering has dropped away quite a bit, leading to understeer on the many roundabouts here. I think this is largely due to the massive outer shoulder blocks. Still, they are great tyres and the feedback is so good that you know when you are at the limit and understeer is coming! Wear has been better than I feared. The tyres also look the part and for the price, are a performance bargain. I imagine with the dropping temperatures as winter approaches their performance will drop away, but that is to be expected with a summer tyre. All in all, a great tyre and I would recommend if you value grip, handling, quietness and feedback.

These are a very good tyre. Dry and wet grip is very good, comparable to the top end tyres from other brands. Tyre noise is vastly reduced over my previous tyres (some cheap Nexens which came with the car).
My favourite aspect of these is the progressiveness - you can really feel what they are doing and the levels of grip available to you in the bends.
Grip does seem to drop off slightly when the temperatures are sub 5 degrees, but this is the case with any summer tyre and the feedback means you can feel it happening readily.
I can't comment on tyre wear yet as have only had them on for ~1000 miles, but they feel like a fairly soft compound so wouldn't expect them to be super long lasting.
I will definitely be buying these again if available in my size. In some sizes they are a verifiable bargain when compared with the competition.

Previously had bridgestone ER33 which still had loads of tread left on them but i hated the ride quality they offered. These Dunlops have literally transformed the ride- so smooth and more cushioned. A little less road noise too. Not sure how to describe this but you do notice little rolling resistance. The car seems less sticky and when in DRIVE without even accelerating it now moves quicker- this has resulted in slightly better MPG. MY only negative is that they are advertised as having RIM PROTECTOR but to me they don't. Unlike the Bridgestones the wall does not overhang the alloy rim so it's easy to kerb the wheels. I spoke to Dunlop who insist it does have a rim protector so if this is the case then Dunlop's MFS (rim protector) is a complete joke!

Given 90% while driving a Fiat Stilo (205/55 R16 V) on mostly country roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Excelent tyres for my Fiat Stilo. To be honest, I still didn't find the limit of the car with these tyres, it just keep going and going, without losing the grip.

It wears quickly, but what do you expect ? It is a sports tyre.

Road feedback is also very good.

I highly recommend these tyres.

Given 96% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 Aero 2.8 V6 convertible (235/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
I shod my last car (Mazda6 2.3 Sport) with Goodyear F1 Eagle Assymetric 2 - and I was amazed at the transformation they made. A change of car and a need for better tyres leaned me toward the same tyre, albeit wider.

I was swayed by reviews of the Dunlop Sportmaxx RT. The Saab 9-3 Aero V6, with Hirsch upgrade, now handles and brakes like the car I wanted it to be. A little more road rumble than I had hoped - but, on every road condition thrown at the car so far, the new Dunlops are totally confidence-inspiring and, on dual carriageway, are returning better MPG than the old tyres did.

I will report back after the cold, wet months. That's where the Goodyears were truly superb for a summer tyre.
