Mazda Mazda 6 GL Wagon Tyre Review Highlights
A hard wearing OEM factory original tyre that was used for 6 years and 55000 km. The tyre tread is still very sufficient, but it is already unsafe to drive on - the wet grip decidedly awful. You will get wheel spin just with a mist of water, or on a drying road, with only moderate throttle input. Dry grip is sufficient but you can feel that the car is just a little on edge if you brake too hard while cornering. The feedback is excellent, if only because you can feel every bump and dip in the road surface. Obviously the ride is extremely bumpy, and road noise was quite loud. The steering got very heavy as the tyres aged, and some brake screeching started to occur even at very light braking between 40km/h and 60km/h. All issues, including the steering and the brake screeching, were solved when replaced with new tyres. I would not recommend these tyres to anyone.
