I went for Turanza T005 based on positive rewievs and expecting a mild and wet winter.
I drove around 2000 miles since then on mostly wet and cold roads with temps around 0-10 C.
Excellent wet grip and handling with a lot of feedback. Very low noise, quite pleased. Previously I had T001, also not bad, very predictable tyre and Nexen Nfera Su1 which had poor wet handling, I would say even dangerous.
Looking forward to spring, summer and warm weather, because on dry so far grip is sensational.
Tyre wear is OK, so far no big diff. between front/rear, it will increase later, after all it's FWD with decent hp.
I didn't drive to the limit due to low temps.
I would buy them again.

Initially pleased with these tyres and purchased based on the good reviews, road noise in the cabin was quieter and handling in normal city driving was good. Have now been running on them, (both front) on a FWD for 4 months and 2k miles. Have found on a quick take off a tendency for wheels to skid on the road surface wet or dry.
Now, I realise that these are summer tyres but In our recent icy road conditions with the tyres skidding on the surface and with no grip, the smell of burning tyre rubber was overwhelming leading me to believe that the rubber compound on these particular tyres are pretty soft.
I have never had this happen with any other tyres, ever, in all my driving years. I really don't hold out getting any superior mileage from these "premium" rated tyres, maybe okay on the rears but would not purchase for front replacement again.

I have changed 10 cars, so I've tried many types of tires, these Bridgestone have left me with the best impression. I believe it is the best choice for complex driving situations and with very good price.

This is best type used by me compared with other premium brands. I like them a lot and I bought them after multiple reviews and research. I drove more than 2000 miles with them on dry and wet condition, taking to the limit on corners and also driving comfortable when I wanted. I feel save all the time. Also the fuel consumption it's reduced comparing other premium tires used. Bridgestone did a very good engineering job. Are very balanced on all conditions with very good feedback from the road even if it's wet or dry or you need to avoid some obstacle you will feel the car where turns immediately. I remember immediate after I put them the steering was very good comparing with Michelin or Pirelly that I used before. Bridgestone Turanza T005 it's also not expensive as premium brand. It deserves the first place in my preference and I love them. I saw couple of negative reviews but more on winter conditions or below 7°C. People these are summer tyres, don't expect to do miracles when outside is winter condition. They are the best as any tyre are used for, more than 7°C like in any regulation.
Buy them without any doubt. Are comfortable, performant, best in class for a good price.

I have just got these for the front of my Audi A4 225-50-17 I had winter tyres on the car before and it was time for a change due to weather and time of year.
WOW I have so much grip before if i put my foot down i would get a bit of spin and traction control would cut in ...These Bridgestone Turanza T005 I put my foot down in the dry so far and no spin at all the grip like Sh8Y to a blanket i have never had tyres grip like this i was not expecting that.
they are quiet and the feed back is great i can go in to a corner and these grip I and not sure of how long there last i will keep updating the wear I don't drive like a nutter most of my trips are around 80 miles and every so often a 260 trip to my Parents in London. I am in Lincolnshire the roads are 90% single land A roads and when i do my spots pictures.online I normally travel around 40 to 60 mile each way to various games.
the winter continental tyres I had on there were amazing in the snow and cold but with the warmer weather they did not grip as well so I take them of and put back on when the winter comes so i will also no if these last I expect to do around 10k this year i will keep a note of the tyre depth every 1000 miles I do.
If these last well and the grip stays though the tyres life I will be very happy.
I paid £240 for 2 tyres fitted at 225-50-17.

The tires are the best, I was buy the tires 1 month ago, for this period the tires is good, I tested on the dry and wet with 120KM/h, and braking is quite short.

Fitted at my volvo s60 three months ago and i have very good impessions also for dry and wet grip.Quality tyre suitable for touring use.

Fitted these to my Golf a few weeks ago...and v glad I did so. Drive back from Scotland in sleeting conditions, with slush on motorway...great traction on slushy road...and v sure footed during aqua planing. Road noise and mpg excellent Please sir...can I have some more!

Fitted to (1200kg) Skoda Rapid 1.2 TSi petrol, bought at 6k miles, now on 17k miles, front tyres need replacing as tread worn down to minimum, exactly what one needs on cold wet winter roads. Were OK up to about 14k, so 3mm of tread or thereabouts. Now there's an utter lack of grip from traffic light starts (and no, this isn't upon contact with white lines). Tried to drive at 50mph uphill in Peak District (4 degrees outside), car started to pull to right; no fault of steering and tyre pressures correct, so....what? Decided to look for replacements before Plod makes the decision for me. Previous cars had Michelin Pilot (good overall, though expensive and constantly finding other people's screws left in road!), Goodyear Excellence (they weren't!) and Continental (which tended to last 25k miles, not 10k, did what they were meant to do when asked to do it, good in any weather and any speed!!). Think I'll see what Conti can offer.

Avoid! Expensive tyres for bad performances! They come as stock with the new Nissan Micra 2017 (italy) and they are really bad. On dr, they slid most of the time if you try a quicker start, making the manouver very dangerous since you move less than you'd expect. On wet... oh god... don't touch the brakes. Just the other day i bumped on someone else car because the tyes slide so much even at 30km/h (i wasn't at "safe distance" because we were in traffic).

No more for me.

After few days my t005 is comfortable especially on speed bumps road noise is lower steering lighter and average 6 + extra mpg
Only down side is handling and performance
This is only as my previous set were re002 potenza adrenaline performance Tyre which held corners at high speed stiffer steering and generally more precise and FUN
Take note if u enjoy your performance Tyre stick with it touring Tyre definitely has a lot of advantages personally myself I’ll go back to potenza as I enjoy the fun factor. Expensive lesson 😱😢
