Great tires for the price. I replaced my OEM RF tires (Dunlop Sportmaxx 18") and overall feeling is better (better cmfort and lower noise) with same safety feeling on wet roads.

Given 97% while driving a Mercedes Benz B180Cdi (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 12,000 average miles
Great tyre, and most certainly better than the Continental 2s & 3s I replaced. So far on my second pair, and they have outlasted the Conti's in miles, by a good few thousand. Car feels quieter, smoother, more comfortable. Great tyre all round and a reasonable price, would recommend and purchase again.

Given 97% while driving a Honda Civic Type R (215/40 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
After having Michelins on the car to replace he frankly useless Bridgestone RE040 followed by Hankook V12s (as the Michelins had become far to expensive) I choose these on the recommendation of a few friends. I have to say they are better than the Hanooks on a Civic Type R and 9.5 tenths as good as the Michelins which are almost £100 more expensive. Not sure on how they will wear as they have only been on a week but very impressed so far.

I bought these Kumho ECSTA LE ku39 225/40/18 looking at the best price/performance value on the market, after reading many tests and reviews. After I replaced the dunlops with these tyres on my car (Bmw 330ci, 275hp) I immediately noticed the difference in comfort on bumpy roads. The steering is sharp and can be pushed in a corner. All around i can say it is a very good tyre and recommend it. I will buy again.

Given 90% while driving a Subaru Impreza WRX STI (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 12,000 spirited miles
Fitted to my impreza running over 400 bhp, first 100 miles were not up to much while the releasing agent wore off but after shis the performance was greatly improved, good grip wet and dry. progressive tyre so you know where you are when it is being pushed to the limit on track and road. Typical summer tyre though as the performance drops off in cold weather once the temperature is down to about 6 or 7 degrees or below. Use these on track as my wet weather tyre and they are very good considering the cost, not up to the grip levels of the best mitchelins in the wet but nice to be able to get a 4 wheel drive car into a controlled slide under power.

Given 86% while driving a Porsche 997 911 (235/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Just fitted the Kumho KU39s as fronts on my Porsche 997S. The Rears are Bridgestone Potenzas RE050As. The Kumhos were a replacement of Sunny SN3800s which I didnt like at all. The car now feels very balanced and is offering plenty of grip and feedback in the dry. The ride up front became very comfortable too. I also think that they suit the light front end of a 911. Very pleased would suggest the product to anybody who owns a 911 and does not want to spend big bucks yet wants a bargain tyre to fare almost equally with the big boys at half the price :))

Given 77% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDi 170 S Line (235/40 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 9,000 average miles
So far these tyres have lasted 8500 miles and are already down to 4mm on the fronts and the rears have 6.5mm.

In the dry these tyres have gripped well and I have had no major issues with them and they seem to do a good job and are fairly progressive. In the wet however they are slightly above average when pushed hard and bit skitterish when pushed to the limits, the ESP has been in overdrive a few times in the wet. I do a weekly commute of 600 miles mainly motorway and a few a roads thrown in and these tyres are a very comfortable motorway cruiser. I cruise on the motorway at about between 80-90MPH and do have some fun on the A roads so fairly spirited use with these tyres.

I have managed to test them in the snow and they have not got stuck at any time and do offer grip.

Overall I would say that they are good value for money as I paid 112 pounds each fitted for 1 tyre, but they are not as good as the premium brands and TBH I think they will be shot at between 12-14k which is poor IMHO, as I have had the Falken ZE912 and they lasted just over 20K previously and were the same price with the same driving style.

Given 80% while driving a Audi S3 (225/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 6,000 spirited miles
Had these on my old Mk2 XR2 and when my S3 needed tyres i had the option of these or Kendas. Having driven these tyres before i went for them and glad i did. On my FWD Fiesta the grip in the wet and dry was very progressive and with the amount of feel and feedback you could tell when they were close to slipping, they were even man enough to deal with a fair few laps of silverstone and brands over their lifespan. Results are much the same with the quattro. For those who dont know the quattro in the older S3s is adaptive and it basically runs in FWD until it detects any slip. Would definitely buy these again. Obviously theyre not quite as good as the Bridgestone Potenza S001s that were on before but for the price i paid (£290 four fitted) i have no complaints.

Given 87% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDi 170 S Line (235/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 4,000 average miles
Had these fitted for 414 quid for 4 tyres all in.

So far and 4k in they have been good, the dry grip is good with no issues there however in the wet they dont give you maximum confidence as they do tend to slide a little when pushed into bends, but they do warn you before they are about to let go. Very comfortable and smooth on town roads and motorways and road noise is minimal I cant comment on wear yet but will do as the miles tick over.

Nice effort for Kumho a good mid range tyre imo.

Given 47% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
OMG - what have I done? Considered having these tyres removed and my old Michelin Pilots refitted - even with 2mm tread remaining! Done first 5000 miles on the Kumhos and they look like they'll last but I've literally had to adopt a 'driving-on-ice' style when the road is wet! The old adage comes to mind, buy cheaply, buy twice :-(
