Michelin Pilot Exalto Reviews - Page 4

Given 89% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/40 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 42,000 average miles
No longer standard issue on Octavia vRS - why? Struggling to find at reasonable cost now - no looking for alternatives!

Given 89% while driving a Renault Clio Sport 182 (/ R16) on a combination of roads for 50,000 spirited miles
If you have 182, these tyres were designed especially for this car, and consequently, they are very well suited to it. I had my Clio for 3 years and only used these tyres. I did motorway miles, fast B roads, several track days and a trip to the Nurburgring in Germany. The tyres are great in all weathers and although they are quite a bit more expensive than the competition, they last ages so you certainly get value for money in the long run!

Given 77% while driving a Peugeot 206 1.4 90hp (195/55 R15 V) on mostly town for 30,000 spirited miles
I found these tyres good, but i wanted something more accurate as far it concerns the information given to the driver.

I wasn't sure how much i was turning the wheel and this was a bit problem to me.

(sorry for my english language, i am from Greece)

Given 76% while driving a Citroën C4 (205/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 48,000 average miles
long-lasting and hard-wearing, (25K front, 50K rears), could be quieter but not noisy, progressive understeer, generally unobtrusive, but 205/50 R17s are expensive to replace.

Given 79% while driving a Citroën C2 VTS (195/45 R16 V) on mostly country roads for 30,000 average miles
OE tyres so can't compare with other fitments. Grip very well, wet or dry. Excellent mileage, 31k and just off the TWIs all round. Average feedback/progressiveness scores due more to the car than the tyres, any slides have been brief and quickly recovered. Not the cheapest, I'm trying some Avon ZV3s next to see how they fare, we'll see if you get what you pay for!

Given 57% while driving a MG ZR (205/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
I replaced some Pilot sports with these tyres. Were just as good in the dry (which was surprising) but not as great in the wet (still pretty good though).

Very comfortable tyre and was wearing well when I sold the car.
