Je viens de remplacer la paire avant que j'avais montée en Mars 2014, par un ensemble identique. C'est probablement trop pour ma voiture, mais ce sont les meilleurs pneus que j'ai installé sur l'une de mes voitures. (Kuhmo Ecsta, Pirelli P6000 (Horribles!), Yokohama, Uniroyal RainSport etc)
Ils ont initialement remplacés des Continental Sport Contact 3 qui n'ont pas durés trop longtemps.
Lorsque j'ai acheté les Michelin PSS je m'attendais presque à une adhérence moyenne sur sol mouillé et un bruit de la route beaucoup plus important que les Continental. Alors que le bruit était semblable (quelques sections sud de la M25 sont terribles pour le bruit) la différence d'adhérence était incroyable. Sur certaines routes bien grasses que j'utilise régulièrement, où les Continental faisaient faire des heures supplémentaires à l'ABS et au contrôle de traction, je passe maintenant soit sans système soit en utilisation du tout!
Le taux d'usure a également largement dépassé mes attentes à 25000 pour les avants.
J'en achèterai encore et les recommande à tout le monde :-)

J'ai eu deux jeux de ces pneus en 15000 kms. Si vous voulez un pneu qui colle à la route, alors c'est le pneu fait pour vous. Quand j'ai acheté ma voiture elle avait des Pirelli P Zero qui sont la monte d'origine. Ce sont des nuls, en particulier sur le mouillé. Ils ont un tramligning terrible et se tortillent au freinage. D'autre part, les Michelin Pilot Super Sport sont superbes. Ils ne durent pas longtemps, mais ceux-ci ne vont jamais lâcher, contrairement aux pneus Pirelli. La sensation est brillante, vous savez comment est la voiture dans toutes les situations

My RCZ GT 156THP was fitted from new with Continentals being a 19" wheel it was expected to be a firm ride and although the grip and feedback was faultless I got tied of the road noise that progressed with wear and the excessive hard ride. Having Michelin Pilots before on a 407Coupe I knew there was a good chance they would suit the RCZ. Once the fronts were near worn out these Super Sports were fitted and what a difference, the road noise gone, no need to turn the radio up at motorway speeds and the ride was completly transformed, car still grips like S**t to a blanket in both Dry & Wet conditions but handles minor road surface imperfections without jolting your arms on the wheel! The only thing that was noticed that perhaps the Continentals had more feel of the road and a little more feedback. For wear these tyres have only been on a few months so I cannot coment but from experience they are no worse than any other premium tyre. So to conclude if you have a RCZ thats giving you a hard ride on 19"wheels get some Michelin Super Sports fitted.

Given 90% while driving a BMW 1 series (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 17 spirited miles
I've had 4 types of tyres on my car including Goodyear Assymetric 2 (RFT), Conti SportContact 5P, Michelin Pilot Super Sport and now Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s.
I drive in a lot of slower traffic but then on weekends do a lot of mountain driving.

I've always liked the PSS. They have immense traction and grip, they soak up road imperfections perfectly and they're comfortable with my suspension. Wet grip is great but they don't like damp conditons, nor cold conditions.

In 18 inch form they have a slightly soft sidewall, which means they distort a bit during hard acceleration from slow speeds making the rear of the car move around more than usual, and in corners or over bumps you need to wait an instant for it to settle.

Comparatively, I liked the Conti 5P more for precision and accuracy, but I definately preferred the PSS for grip and comfort with my cars M-Performance suspension.

I’m now using Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s which gives more grip no matter the temperature, is as comfortable as the PSS, but has the speed of response and accuracy of the Conti.

Will I buy PSS again? For 20 inches and up, definately.
For 18 inch I'll stick with the PS4's.

I bought potenza s001 by January of 2016 , I feel my car ( Audi S5) handling is very unstable , especially when drive fast , so I consider to change it to MPSS, and finally I make the decision , now my car is as good as what I want , comfort ,steering is stable , even my wife said its a lot different compare it to Bridestone potenza s001 , she also say this MPSS 255/35/19 is the best and safety tire , thanks again for the Michelin do a good product like this MPSS , :)

Bought these to ditch the awful tyres that came on my insignia vxr. Always loved pilot sports in the past but this time I had to move up to the super sport due to size. They are double the price of a PS3 which is annoying but in terms of performance they are great. I was dissapinted with the way my car would underster but after changing the tyres I realise the terrible acceleras that came on it were the problem. The only thing I've marked low is how progressive they are. They aren't progressive at all. You've got Velcro like grip up to stupid speeds but then when they let go they let go fully. By the time that happens you're already well past any speed limits so if you have a complaint about them you need to look at your driving first.

Fitted MPSS tyres all round on my BMW to replace Dunlop run flats. Ride hugely improved. With run flats my car used to crash over bumps in the road. The MPSS tyres are slightly noisier than the Dunlops but I quickly got used to that. When new I noticed the MPSS are very prone to picking up loose road gravel which flies off the tyres and hits the underside of the car. Although now the tyres have worn in the problem seems not so bad. Grip feels good and better than the Dunlops. But the main reason I bought MPSS was to ditch the awful run flats that BMW fit as standard and MPSS seemed the best conventional tyres available in the size needed for my BMW 530d msport. Not sure I would buy again though because of the gravel problem, although the extra grip/performance is reassuring to have on hand.

Given 97% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 177bhp quattro (245/40 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 50 average miles
I put a set of these on my A4 Avant Quattro to replace the standard Dunlops that came on the car. I was astonished at the grip in all conditions and the reduction in road noise as compared to the Dunlops.

I am shocked to hear people in the reviews complaining about the wear on their tyres as mine lasted 5 years and nearly 90,000 kms. I am just in the process of changing out my winter tyres (Pilot Sport Alpins) and will most definitely be going back to the Pilot Super Sport. These tyres, coupled with the grip already available with the Quattro are hands down the best tyres I have ever owned.

Given 96% while driving a BMW 320D (225/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 25,000 spirited miles
I have had my car for more then 8 years and over 200 000 km, never had better tires, these are the only once which after 3 seasons dont have sidewall bump, the temperatures in my country are fairly hot.. I say this because nder 10 C, they loos a bit of grip and dont work so well, but I assume that is normal as this is a summer tire..

BMW 135i (245/35 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
I said I'd do another review after some further miles.

In summary, good in the dry / warm, however wet and below 10c not good.

Would I buy again based on UK climate, no. I'd go Conti SC5 or look at PS4.

I was looking at a 335i on 19s last weekend and in that size CSC6 seem to be the choice.

Birds BMW recommend CSC5 too.

BMW (245/35 R13 W) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
These came standard on the car (BMW M135i) and whilst they are lauded for their dry grip in the cold and wet they simply crap. Not cheap, budget tyre 'crap' but for a UHP top-o-the-range tyre they should be a lot, lot better.

In the dry and warm they grip like a vice, you can feel every notch on the road and know exactly what is going on a every corner, the only down side to these levels of grip is that there's no progression towards the point where they let go, aside from that they do a superb job in the dry and warm temps, eg above 12-15 degrees.

However, none of that matters in the UK much especially where I live (Scotland) as I need a tyre that perform well in the wet and these simply do not. They have low levels of lateral grip in the wet and break-away under power quite easily. Straight line performance is adequate but there's limited fun in a straight line !!!!

Unfortunately, given the UK climate these will be replaced this summer (2016) for either GY F1s 3s and Hankook S1 Evo 2s. I'll happily trade 10-15% dry performance for a 50% increase in wet weather performance.

Also, in the 225-40-18 88Y (from on BMW) the manufacturers recommended pressure results in excessive outer edge wear, so have to run 4psi higher to combat. Plus, quite a few M135i owners have experienced significant splitting and cracking on outer edges after only 1-2 years of driving... all-in-all, not a good show from the MPSS.
