  • The Nankang Cross Seasons AW-6 tyre receives an overall adequate rating for driving safety. It shows significant weaknesses on dry roads at high temperatures and clearly misses good ratings on both wet and winter surfaces.

On dry surfaces, the tyre offers only adequate steering feedback and lacks precision. The driver must make frequent corrections due to delayed steering response and inconsistent cornering. The test vehicle tends to oversteer early in dynamic maneuvers, resulting in an adequate rating for limit behavior. Braking distance is rated as satisfactory.

On wet roads, the Cross Seasons AW-6 performs satisfactorily overall. It receives satisfactory ratings for braking and aquaplaning performance but only an adequate rating in handling. The tyre struggles to combine longitudinal and lateral forces effectively, showing early and pronounced under- or oversteer.

In winter conditions, the Nankang achieves a satisfactory result. It scores well in snow and ice braking, but only satisfactory in traction and snow handling. The test vehicle offers satisfactory steering precision, but with a narrow and low performance limit.

Environmentally, the Chinese-made Nankang Cross Seasons AW-6 receives a satisfactory rating. While its wear is rated as good, it narrowly misses a good rating for projected mileage. Fuel consumption is acceptable, but high weight results in an adequate efficiency rating. The tyre scores poorly in sustainability, lacking ISO certifications and showing production residues that unnecessarily impact the environment during initial use.

Top 3 Nankang Cross Seasons AW6 Reviews

Given 80% while driving a MINI Cooper (205/65 R15) on a combination of roads for 400 spirited miles
This is an early review as I've only had these all-seasons tyres on my car for about 400 miles, but as there's no other reviews I thought I'd give a first impressions. They are quite cheap tyres, but so far I've been very impressed. Good levels of grip on wet and dry roads, and noticeably grippier than my summer tyres on cold (I've not yet encountered icy conditions) slimy/muddy roads. The level of noise is much lower than I expected and well controlled. I'll try an update this review when I've done a few more miles/encountered some snow or ice. So far they have inspired confidence and as i drive a mini it inspires me to chuck it about and requires decent grip.

Given 88% while driving a SEAT Ateca Xcellence (215/50 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Recently fitted and the overall ride is noticeably better from the factory fitted Bridgestone's. Tyre noise is much lower and overall comfort superb. During this current period of torrential rain the wet grip and handling is A1 and more confidence down B-roads in a mid-size SUV. Will update should snow appear in the coming months. Overall recommended and would buy these again.

Great tyres, had 4 fitted on my wife's Mokka and we just drove through snow and ice in Cumbria. Very confident ride and good on a steep section with snow and mud also.

Given 81% while driving a Skoda Superb MK3 (2015 Present) (215/55 R18) on a combination of roads for 4,000 average miles
Overall a good tire all around. Low noise compared to my previous falken summer tires. Lower feedback from front tires at low speeds. Good at high speed on highways. Exceptional in wet conditions and lower temperatures. No signs of higher fuel consumption. Braking is good in wet and dry conditions. Can take some spirited driving in corners which suprises me. Not the best in everything but it does fairly okay everywhere. Overall a good tire for its price and i feel confident. I recommend

Given 67% while driving a Renault Clio 1.5 DCi 65 (185/55 R15) on mostly motorways for 0 average miles
So I bought a set of these tyres for my diesel car as I wanted to have all-season tyres for a nice price. Noise is really low so that is nice. Dry grip is great too. Wet grip is bad. During an emergency break on a wet road the car skidded. And that happend twice. During wet weather I am not that confident with these tyres. I have never drivven these tyres on icy of snowy roads. The rubber feels pretty soft. That could suggest that the tyre will wear quickly. I don’t think I will buy these tyres again when I need new ones.
