Given 97% while driving a Nissan Qashqai (215/65 R16) on a combination of roads for 100 average miles
fitted these tires to my moms friend on a 2.0 dci qashqai 150hp , the woman cant drive at all and i decided that if the WR D3's on my suzuki perform so good .. these WR D4's had to be better , and i was right , they grip better in snow and slush , the dry grip is very good if the temp is under 8-9 degrees Celsius , steering response is better then the WR D3's .. i drove 100mile with these tires in different conditions and didnt found any week points , its a great tire for a family car .. audi a4, honda accord etc. if your not looking to go like crazy these tires will exceed a lot of people expectations

Given 40% while driving a Ford Fiesta (185/55 R15) on mostly town for 10,000 average miles
2013-fiesta; just today changed from summer hankook ventus s1 evo 195/50/15.
Very surprised to find out: cars back sliding(lateral-outward; a slight slip actually) in turning a bend on dry road at 50km/h +14C.
Fiesta is best in class for road holding and been driving this car for 2years in the same way!! i was a bit fast to try D4 but not a slightest hint of sliding/slip ever happened with s1 evo's in similar conditions before.
Serious question mark about nokianD4 s LATERAL STABILITY!!!If its like this in dry road what happens on snow??!!I had chosen nokianD4 because of its dry performance: result: a big let down!
Comfort and noise are fine by the way

Given 91% while driving a Fiat 500 (185/55 R15 H) on mostly town for 200 spirited miles
This tire has been good so far. In dry conditions, breaking lags a bit behind a summer tire, where in a heavy breaking scenario the stopping distance has been slightly longer. It leaves a sporty feeling and inspires confidence when cornering, while road noise is minimal and comfort is similar to summer tires (Toyo CF2). The rolling resistance appears to be similar or lower than previous summer tires, which is a big boon for a winter tire.

Given 86% while driving a SEAT Leon FR tdi (205/55 R16 H) on a combination of roads for 350 average miles
I fitted them 2 weeks ago to a spare set of wheels. Initially they had a dead/vague spot when centre. This has improved over a few hundred miles, I put this down to the release agent wearing off the tire and I also added a 2 more psi from my summer pressures. Now the feel a lot more responsive. Compared to my summer tyres which are 225 45 r17 Dunlop sport maxxx they are quieter and get improved economy around 4 mpg more. Dry braking is as good as the dunlops which have 3-4 mil of tread. I've not pushed them to the limit yet so cannot comment on progressiveness. Very impressed with wet grip and braking far better than the dunlops and nexen winsports on our other car. They exceed the nexens in every aspect particularly cornering where you get quite a lot of tread movement/wobble on the nexens. Haven't noticed tred movement with the nokians. Will report back later when the temps have dropped and have experienced more rain and snow.

Given 99% while driving a SEAT Exeo (225/45 R17 H) on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Just fitted these tyres on a 260+ bhp fwd car. These are my very first impressions form around 100 miles. The tyres are very quiet and comfortable on the fairly decent roads. They hide well small road imperfections. The larger imperfections are were a bit harsh but this is down to my "sport" suspension as well. On dry roads they provide the best feedback that I have ever felt form a winter tyre. The same is true for dry grip both lateral and longitudinal. The car is very stable on dry roads even when pushed. Traction off the line (at 8 degrees Centigrade) is on par with my 235 section summer semi-slicks on a warm day. Wet handling in light rain is superb. Have not tried them yet in heavy rain, snow or ice. I will put some more miles on them and report on their progress. So far I am very happy with my purchase especially when I know that they will get even better when I wear the thin film of …whatever lubricant Nokian use to ensure clean separation of the tyre from the tyre mold. Oh and last but not least i got them for 104 EUR a corner which was 25% less than Michelin, Goodyear, Dunlop, Pirelli ...etc.
