Nissan Qashqai Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Maxtrek MAXIMUS M1 given 37% (225-45-16-)
Driving on mostly town for 1000 average miles
The first time we had some spring rain I couldn't believe the tyres felt like they were drifting. It was very disconcerting going around a round-a-bout as I felt the tyres slide out from under me. I slowed down on the next turn and it happened again. I guess if I drove at 20kph it may have felt safer. So no I went out and bought new tyres after having these tyres for only 8 weeks. Costly learning experience.

These tires was the worst I've ever had. Οn a wet road it was very dangerous. Τhe sign m+s is only typical. I did 24000km (15000mi) and then replaced them.

Driving on mostly town for 4600 easy going miles
Hi everyone, firstly I'm 68, I want mpg not mph. Im telling you the whole truth here, no lies, its not my style to lie. In March I bought a new Qashqai epower, it came with Continental eco6 on as standard tyres. First impression, only 6.4mm of tread brand new, are they serious? Surely they'll wear quicker than an 8mm treaded tyre,,,,yep, they have. Listen, I drive with the lightest foot going, I'm getting over 55mpg over the period I got it (1st March 2024) it's done 4628 miles now. I just checked my front tyre tread depth,,,4.7mm, I swear, I couldn't believe it. Back are 5.4mm.
So, mpg is brilliant, tyre wear is diabolical on the heavier epower qashqai. Dry handling is ok but wet handling isn't, it'll move sideways on wet corners, it's a bit scary.
Noise level is very good inside the car.
I'm going to change these soon, before Winter, I live in Aberdeen, it's cold in Winter, I can't trust these things. Looking at : Goodyear 4 seasons Gen3 , hopefully with 8mm of tread on.
I'd never recommend these Conti Eco6 to anyone, Continental are taking the proverbial with only 6.4mm of tread from new.
Steve.

Less than 5000 miles and 8 months, they now need replacing. Worst tyre I've ever bought. Don't waste your money.

2022 qashqai.15000 miles over 2years.Advised that tyre wear down to 3mm/4mm.Need changing soon.Where are people getting exaggerated miles recorded from.I am not a boy racer and try to slow down without excessive braking,so I cannot agree with wear achieved by some reviews.

Absolutely shocking tyre. Fitted two on the rear of my car, and they have left the ride feeling extremely unstable and I find myself continually making 'steering corrections' to compensate. Such poor quality and they were by no means the cheapest tyre. Had enough now after 4 weeks - need replaced.

Driving on a combination of roads for 18000 average miles
I have had these tyres on my car for 3 years, covering almost 18,000 miles. The rears are practically still new the fronts have about 3 mm left on them.
Living and driving in central Scotland we have a lot of rain, and these tyres have never let me down in some challenging conditions including snow.
Just starting to feel the front not as grippy as they have been. I will be looking to replace them within the next 1000/2000 miles,i can honestly say these tyres haven't let me down in Dry and Wet.

Compared to Michelin they are "OK".. Not sth fancy. Cornering is good , braking is medium but comfort and economy is bad. In an suv I can feel every road imperfection. Bad performance when it's cold.
