Questions and Answers for the Radar Dimax 4 Season

2023-04-26 - Are these tires quiet !!!

Unfortunately we've no experience with the noise levels of the Dimax 4Season. The EU tyre label in your size would be a good place to start, though that is only a measurement of external noise.

Bought these tyres as needed a all season tyre and was on a budget and for the money they were fine however I have now switched to a mid range tyre and they show the weakness of the radar tyres immediately if you want a (very) cheap all season option I would recommend these but if you can spend a little more then much better options exist

Given 86% while driving a Honda Accord (205/60 R16) on a combination of roads for 40,000 average miles
I have 33k miles on Dimax E Touring on my 2006 Honda Accord Lx 2.4L 5 speed manual and still have 30 -40% tread left. Very surprised on how long they are lasting.

Volkswagen (225/45 R17 H) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Still pinching myself, waiting for the day they'll not be amazing, went from premium, all be it worn, tyres that were noisy, vague twitchy steering, prone to sliding and drifting in corners and needed caution when roads hit damp.... Over to Radar all seasons as had winter tyres last night year and amazing in the snow, but wasn't expecting more than mediocre from these budgets.... Anything but, transformed a car I was dissapionted in and half ready to get rid of... Much quieter, more comfortable, feels secure in dry and wet with good feedback from steering, no more sliding wet or dry, I can feel where the tyres are and what they are doing, you can feel them holding onto the road, car is more fun and alive to drive and yet more secure in all conditions, yes even up a very sharp turn and incline in the snow without hesitation where I thought again all seasons may hesitate compared to winters. Never considered budgets before, never heard of radar before, thought all season budgets could be the worst of everything but reluctantly took these on recommendation of the garage from customer feedback, best decision I've ever made. Just bought a second car, it will be getting a set of these ASAP.
