Given 39% while driving a Volkswagen Passat 1.9Tdi (215/55 R16) on mostly motorways for 8,000 easy going miles
Put these on the front of my passat and they are worn out after approx 8,000 cruising motorway miles. I drive about 35000 miles a year commuting to work and go through tyres alot. These were ridiculous. Usually use cheap Chinese ilinks and get approx 22-25000 miles from them. Won't be buying or recommending again.

Given 60% while driving a Citroën C2 VTS (205/40 R17) on a combination of roads for 25,000 spirited miles
For moderate driving style tire is fine, but for someone who is looking for a lot more, I would not recommend.

Given 41% while driving a Volvo S80 D5 (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 6,000 easy going miles
I bought the set of them last year March. The front ones are already worn out. I was worrying that its something wrong with my car but it turns out two of my work mates have the same tyres and identical problem with the front ones.
Next time I'd rather pay more and buy something more decent and reliable.

Given 56% while driving a Honda Civic Type S 2.2 i CDTi (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 10,000 average miles
Bought these, in 225/45/17, as a student... didnt expect much as they were budget friendly.

Performance - Amazing when DRY, take any corner as you like and dont worry. In the wet be careful, the thread depth and pattern will not dissipate water quickly enough.

Comfort, enjoy feeling every defect in the road.

Wear, they lasted under 18 months of reasonable driving on decent roads (a LOT of motorway driving). E Grade.

I would buy these again if my budget was being really pushed but for 15% more of an outlay I could get a much better Avon.

Given 60% while driving a Citroën C4 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 3,000 average miles
On a dry road these tyres cannot be faulted. They seemed to wear quite slowly as well. As soon as the road is a little wet or greasy they go to pieces. I had to brake fairly hard (Not emergency braking, just a bit more pressure than normal) on a damp road and they just locked up and skidded. In the dry they would have performed fine but in the wet they are just plain dangerous and for that I will never buy these again, I've never experienced such a poor tyre in the wet. I don't consider myself knowledgeable about tyres, I just know these are the worst I've driven on. I've used other budgets (Infinity, Kleber...) and they all seemed fine.

Good ratio between quality and price. Only minus is poor wet grip.

Had Continental which were great but am planning to change so didn't want to spend big bucks. Was recommemded the Rikens and have to say I'm pretty impressed - not in the same league as the Contis but a really good tyre at a great price.

Friend who works at the tyre shop got them for me last summer. No regrets so far, very grippy and lasting tyre. And they cost me much cheaper than any other mid range tyre. Defiantly will use them again!

Given 70% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 Vector TiD (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 9,000 spirited miles
The tyre came on the car I brought. Used it for around 9000 miles mainly in the wet and it would let go before the continental on the other side. Recently replaced both front tyres with hankook ventus v12's which seem to be very good in the dry not used in the wet yet so will soon see :)
