These tyres were unfortunately fitted by a dealer when I bought a BMW 530D from them......
They are simply abysmal! In the dry they are ok ish (but most any tyre would give some dry grip), however, in the wet, they are totally unpredictable,with no feedback, the only thing you can safely predict is that the wheels will spin incessantly (traction control or not)- and any corners have to be taken with a good deal of trepidation. In the hands of an inexperienced driver I fear that any car would soon be proceeding (probably sideways) towards the scene of a nasty accident. Incidentally, the noise from these tyres is a constant reminder that they are total CRAP.
I cannot imagine that there could be a worse tyre on sale. It certainly seems that you pay for what you get with tyres, so do like I'm doing, and get a proper, branded set of tyres fitted before it's too late!

Given 40% while driving a Mercedes Benz C230 Sports Coupe Kompressor (265/35 R18 W) on mostly town for 2,500 easy going miles
2500 miles and 4 months later the tread split. Tires-easy said (of course) that the tire was underinflated but it was properly inflated the entire time. They won't issue a refund because they take advice from their expert. Given that the tire was properly cared for, and the tread split while driving causing a catastrophic loss of pressure and an accident, I would avoid these tires simply for safety. If you want to live, try another tire.

Given 49% while driving a BMW 318d M Sport Touring (E91) (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 50,000 easy going miles
My dealer purchased these Tallon Triangle tyres for my BMW 318D Touring E91. My opinion:

Dry Grip: Not so bad, in the roads of Portugal, with dry weather, the tyres grip ad adhere to the road quite well, especially on curves;

Wet grip: Completely dangerous!!! Even driving at 40 km/h , with some wet road (not full rain) the car slips away very easily. It is dangerous for you and your family.

Wear: Very good. My tyres lasted 50 000 km using normal driving.

I would never recommend buying these tyres again, simply because they are dangerous in wet conditions.

Given 19% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 Aero 2.8T V6 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
Do not, under any circumstance, buy these tyres. They are quite simply lethal. I bought a Saab 9-3 aero that was already fitted with them. I can only describe them as dangerous. In the dry they are OK unless attempting to press on, in which case, expect masses of understeer and wheelspin. In the wet, or even mildly damp, it feels like you are driving on ice. Islands are terrifying at any speed, understeer is massive and with absolutely no feel at all. Accelerating in a straight line at anything other than than 1/4 throttle results in wheelspin in the first 3 gears. Accelerating and cornering would see you in a ditch. Cannot believe it is legal to sell tyres this bad.

Given 25% while driving a Ford Mondeo (235/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 400 average miles
These tyres should never be allowed on sale. They were fitted to my car by the dealer I bought the vehicle from (18 month old low mileage Mondeo). Absolutely appalling in the wet giving the driver masses of understeer such that cornering became a nightmare at even modest speeds. Took them off after 400 miles and binned them in favour of some Falkens. Will never use cheap budget tyres from China again as I value mine and my family's life.

Given 51% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk4 1.9 GTTDi (215/35 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 300 average miles
just put these tyres on 2 days ago. they were cheap, £250 fitted for 215 35 18 on 18" rs4 wheels on my mk4 golf. so the tyre has stretch. what can i say for the tyre? well the first 30miles was rubbish. they were all over the place. however now, im okay with them. you get what you pay for. dry grip seems okay, wet grip, isn't bad, well i havent pushed to the limit yet. i'd say for a daily driver these tyres are okay, road noise isnt bad...although they make a strange buzzing noise. possibly buy again, however not for serious drivers...no feedback at all. Next year will be getting branded on there. will be better than 1.6 mm of tread most people are used to though and first budget tyre...im sorta impressed. rate 4 in the wet, just about a 6 in dry....JUST. this might change once the car is pushed!

Appalling excuse for a tyre, the grip is poor in the dry, but is completely non-existent in the wet. So poor that accelerating in second or third gear in the wet leads to wheel spin! There is no feedback from the tyres, probably because they have no grip and the tyres limit will be found at the first bend you enter. The only positive thing I can say about them it that they wore well, but it seems like they are made from solid plastic not rubber so I'd nearly expect that. A little noisy, but if you have these on your car the noise will be the least of your worries you'll be more worried about keeping your underwear clean. Less than half the price of a Michelin, and I can see why.

Avoid these tyres like the plague. I Recently bought a 3yr old Seat Altea FR Tdi which had these tyres on the front and a set of Pirelli PZero Rosso on the rear. The Pirelli's are standard fit so I assummed the Triangles had been recent replacements. They were in good nick with plenty of tread so I decided to give them a chance despite having never heard of them and having concerns about budget tyres on an FR. Very quickly I realised that the car was not handling or responding as I expected. I have use of a Leon FR of a similar age which is a great drive and handles brilliantly so I was initially dissapointed with the Altea. I did not have confidence in the cars handling and torque steer was terrible from the off. In the wet it was not an enjoyable car to drive. I never thought it would be the tyres. 9 months later and the tyres were worn to the point of needing replacing. I considered putting PZero Rosso's on the front too but have decided to go with Goodyear Eagle F1 assymetric 2's. The difference was amazing. The car now drives the way I would expect an FR to drive. It's early days but the Goodyears are impressing me all the time. Triangle may be half the price but they will last you less than half the time and will take away any driving enjoyment you have.
