Given 73% while driving a MINI Cooper S (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 15 spirited miles
Well they do what they're meant to.
Bloody good dry tyre, the grip is excellent for fast road use. My Cooper S came alive in the dry on them.
Wet, as expected is very poor however. But then again that's not what they're for.
Would buy again as a summer tyre. Good price too.

GREAT GREAT GREAT tyre for the price. I have ran my first set of these on my impreza sti and they have certainly lived up to my friends recommendation.
I found the grip in the dry honestly "outstanding". I drive my sti like it should be driven and they have yet to fail me. Ive done some extensive trialing and ive found the feedback this tyre gives to be great. The only tyre ive had that actually grips during hard entry and throttle lift to get the car sliding but still the car sticks.
I dont understand all the negative feedback about this tyre in the wet. What are people expecting from it. No tyre is going to anchor you down if you drive like a lunatic in the wet. I found them overall a good tyre in the wet for my needs. Slightly twitchy but not so that it catches you out.
I think if your a driver that enjoys very spirited driving then this is the tyre for you. Amazing in the dry and just simply fun in the wet. Not the longest lasting tyre ive come across but for the price who cares. Overall- the only tyre I'll be using on my sti!!!!!

run them on a 205 gti and would easily beat most things off the mark in the dry but when the rain comes even a spot you need to be a very very brave man or women to even attempt a corner. I remove them around late October for better tyres in the rain.

Given 83% while driving a Mitsubishi mirage cyborg r (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 37,000 spirited miles
Best Dry grip tire with a cheap budget... superb on corners on dry grip.. a bit slippery on wet condition. In My opinion its best on its class... good for both track and road.

Given 80% while driving a Suzuki (195/50 R15) on mostly town for 20,000 spirited miles
In the dry, the tyres are really in their element. Great response and feed back. What i am most surprised about is the tyre wear. I have done 5 track days and an additional 20,000km of mostly spirited driving on these tyres and they are only just at 40% on the inside edge due to running 2 deg neg camber and a fair amount of toe out. the only down fall of the tyre is its wet weather grip. Very slippery even though its got fairly large grooves.

Given 80% while driving a Peugeot 106 (195/50 R15) on mostly country roads for 6,000 spirited miles
These tyres aren't as bad in the wet on my car as many people are suggesting and they are amazing in the dry. They look fantastic and I am ordering some more today.

Given 70% while driving a Mazda MX5 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Not a bad tyre at all, Had the pleasure (!) of driving an MX5 home across snow covered mountains on these and they behaved very well indeed, though they don't like even slight pools of water at all. Better than Falken ZE912s in the dry, but not as good in the wet. Don't flop about as much either and last much longer.

I owned these in 2001 on my civic (EG6). LOVED THESE TIRES IN THE DRY. I live in Phoenix. But, They are HORRIBLE in water. You can drive in water, but don't think you'll be taking any corners at high speeds. Standard all weather tires will handle better in the rain. But, if you're worried about rain, why the fk are you looking at this tire? This is the tire for the ones not afraid to drive into a corner at 40mph. I loved these tires so much, i bought them for my big ass suv. I'll roll that car before i give up enjoying the grip of these sexy tires.

Given 87% while driving a Ford Fiesta Zetec S (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 11,000 spirited miles
I have to say, I was recommended these tyres and I was definitely not disapointed! I have a Fiesta Zetec S running at about 150bhp and it handles it really well especially as the Fiesta is a great little car to throw around and the tyres respond all to well!! I have had these since July 2011 and it's only now I have about 1.6mm of tread left which means time for a change, but at the back I still have 3mm and that is with about 11k miles of driving!! Tyres are really quiet on smooth roads, obviously a bit of noise when the road is a bit dented and dimpled (like most London Roads)But these tyres are prob the best I have had, better than my Uniroyal Rainsport 2's! Only thing about these tyres is in Puddles, relatively small ones, SLOW DOWN! As you should, but it doesn't respond to well to it, and it Aquaplane's quite a bit! Was On my way to Godstone and it literally nearly stopped the car from moving from a speed of about 40mph! And the puddle wasn't that big!!! Apart from that absolutely great tyre... WISHING FOR A CARRIBEAN SUMMER IN ENGLAND!!!

Given 87% while driving a SEAT Ibiza 1.9 Tdi (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Being a softer compound the wear is average. Grip both wet and dry are great. Second full set I've had on my Ibiza TDI. Modified to 194bhp and stick to the road like you know what to a blanket. Shop around though. Had quotes from £104 each to £65. Look the part just parked up as well.

Given 60% while driving a Vauxhall GSi 300bhp (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 8,000 average miles
Used the tyres on motorways and town roads, although i expected a fairly soft tyre they lasted about 8k, which is nowhere near as long as i hoped for.

I would buy again as a summer tyre, but for the price they're not best value for money and a rather bad in the wet.

Given 90% while driving a Renault Clio 1.4 16v (195/50 R15 V) on mostly country roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Noticeable improvement over the toyo t1r and kumho ecsta sports I have had fitted previously.
Dry grip is immense, even on cold roads during the winter months.
Wet grip seems fine in my opinion, I can only see people getting into trouble if they drive the same as if it was dry.
Another thing I noticed is that the sidewalls seem a lot stiffer than the previous tyres I have mentioned giving the tyres pin-point precision.
In terms of wear these tyres seem to be holding out well despite being driven pretty hard on most of the time.

Overall these are a superb tyre and I cannot understand how people can see them in any other light.
