Given 87% while driving a MINI Cooper (195/55 R16 H) on mostly town for 2,000 average miles
I felt compelled to write a review for these tyres having used this site for a number of weeks to finally help me reach a decision on which brand and type of tyre I would go for. I had run flats on my Mini Cooper which I found very hard and uncomfortable so decided to switch to normal tyres. To be honest, it was totally the right decision. My ride is so much smoother and more comfortable and the car is so much more of a pleasure to drive.

After deliberating over premium brands and costs for some time, I eventually chose the Falkens on the basis of great reviews against some of the most top premium brands overall.

The grip is brilliant so far in the dry and wet. We are now approaching winter fast so it remains to be seen how they will perform over those months given that they are a summer tyre, but it will be interesting.

I have not been disappointed and would definitely buy these tyres again. Highly recommended!!

Given 26% while driving a Honda Accord i DTEC EX (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 0 spirited miles
Buy these tires for my 2009 Honda Accord DTEC in extent and are the worst 225/45/18 tires I have ever had in my life. I have been a professional driver and have tried many of them. The guidance is lousy and on several occasions has come to me quite jarring car under heavy braking. Water like a snake. The tires had recently manufactured date and excellent visual appearance but never again buy any. Suffice to say that previously sat on the same car with a Michelin four years and half measure 215/65/16 and use these gripped twice. I even thinking about brake problems because the car brakes half since, until that cai . was due to the tires

Given 78% while driving a SEAT Ibiza FR 1.8T (205/40 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
I run these tyres on two cars. I run them on my 1971 VW type 3 and on my 2005 Seat Ibiza FR. The tyres have good grip in both wet and dry, I have not done enough miles to assess how well they wear. they seem to cope with power quite well, with the Ibiza running around 240bhp pulling away without drama on a hard launch. One thing to note with these tyres is they have quite stiff sidewalls so give plenty of feedback, although they seem to tramline as a result as well, especially on my Ibiza which has a very firm ride (coilovers, polybushes etc), so if your car is set up similarly you may want to take this into account as it can be a little unnerving at first, I suspect it would not be a problem on the average vehicle with standard bushings etc. If you can adjust to this they seem to be an excellent tyre for the money, more suited to the British climate than the Toyo Proxes 4's they replaced, which were a great summer tyre but not so in the winter.

Given 99% while driving a BMW 318D (255/35 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 6,500 spirited miles
After long consideration and reading tons of reviews I decided to go ahead and buy these Falken Tires.

I have been driving 4 months (about 10000 km) with these fitted and couldn't be more happy with my choice!
I drive mostly long distances on highways combined with short city drives. They are very quiet and provide an excellent confident feeling both in the dry and in the wet.
Even at higher speeds they are very progressive and feedback is great.

For the tire size I was unable to find any tire as cheap as this one with still great performance.

Finally after 10000 km the tires still look like new with near to no wear.

I will definitely buy these tires again!

Given 96% while driving a BMW 335d (255/35 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
Fantastic tyres. I have tried most of the premium tyres including Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli and Yokohama and haven't been totally happy with any of them all round. Having read the reviews on this site I chose to try the Falken tyres. I was apprehensive at first because I had though of Falkens as a budget to mid range tyre, but they are better than any of the other makes I have tried. They wear well lasting a full year with some very spirited driving in a car with very high torque. Grip in the wet is nearly identical to grip in the dry, which is superb; water dispersal is excellent. I think it highly unlikely that I will use anything but these Falken tyres in the future. If all other tyres were half price I would still opt for ZE914's, excellent work Falken.

Given 97% while driving a Kia Motors (225/45 R18) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
Overall I am very satisfied with them. In my size 18" they were around half the price of premium tires, but they give similar performance. Low rolling noise tires, yet quieter than several brands on the market with special emphasis tires. Highly recommended.

Given 91% while driving a Audi A3 quattro (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 40,000 spirited miles
I bought these tyres by coinsidence 5 years ago.
I drove them a lot and drove them very hard on my audi quattro 180hp.
Never failed me neither with grip nor with braking.Drove them over 10 times on track- no problem :D
for five years and approximately 50 000 kms, the tyres could last another year /this one/, but they were cut by some idiots. Just the previour year and this one as much as i drove them, they started to make a slight slipping when its wet and chilly. but nothing to be afraid of.
Anyway, would have bought the same but I couldnt find ones for sale at my country. Replacing them with Nokian Zline, as just Line is not offered on stock here.

Given 93% while driving a Volkswagen Golf GTi Mk5 (225/40 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 3,000 spirited miles
Great tyres, surprisingly good value given how good they are. They're not the best for noise but they're by no means bad either, grip is excellent both wet and dry. Will buy again unless someone can persuade me onto something else, which would be a challenge.

Given 82% while driving a Honda 1.8 VTi (195/55 R15 V) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Pros - Excellent wet grip, very progressive and controllable at the limit. Great dry grip. Comfortable ride and a reasonably stiff sidewall giving good responsiveness and feedback. £237 for all 4 fitted at Halfords.
Cons - Meant to have rim protection but it's very shallow. Noisy when pushed... not squealing, more a crunching sound.

My previous tires were Barum Bravuris 2, good tires but these are better in every way. I can't comment on longevity as they're only a few weeks old but I'm very impressed at the performance of these supposedly middle-range tyres on my nose-heavy Civic. Understeer has greatly reduced in the wet and comfort, responsiveness and grip have improved.

Given 89% while driving a BMW 528i SE manual saloon (225/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 12,000 average miles
Very good tyres. Relatively hard compound, so they last well. However this longer life does make the tyre loose a small amount of wet grip compared to some tyres which use softer compounds. The tyres are comfortable and give a good ride, but they are not the quietest tyres, especially on rougher surfaces. In my size they were around half the price of Michelin Primacy HP but they give similar performance.

Given 93% while driving a BMW 525d (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 0 average miles
This tyre is outstanding, perfet tyre for a tourin car, not made to be driven on the track, it is a High Class Tyre, it can easily compete with Goodyear, Pirelli, Michellin...

Given 74% while driving a Ford Focus (195/60 R15 H) on mostly country roads for 2,000 easy going miles
Very good tyres for the money. Dry and wet grip are good and progressive, although ultimate traction isn't as good as the Uniroyal Rainsport 3 I have fitted to my other car. These wear better though. The only other thing I can critisise these tyres for is that they are relatively noisy, at least on this car. I would probably buy them again.
