This approach helps achieve impressive range figures for the vehicle brochure, but comes at a significant cost to grip and control. The EU label's B rating for wet grip hints at longer stopping distances, but the test reveals even more concerning deficiencies in curve grip and aquaplaning resistance. The tyre releases grip suddenly from the rear when pushed, though this behavior should be considered with caution as it wasn't specifically designed for the Kia test vehicle. Despite high comfort and energy consumption scores, its total point tally is embarrassingly close to the budget tyre in the test—a significant indictment of the manufacturer's prioritization of efficiency over safety. It's also the most expensive tyre tested, offering poor value for money.
