Renault Clio IV 1.2 Tce Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Maxxis Premitra HP5 given 87% (205-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 170000 spirited miles
My 2017 Clio 1.2 Turbo GT Line came out of the factory on Michelin Primacy 3, which was a very pleasant tyre but only lasted about 17.000 km. The Maxxis HP5 is very close to the Michelin both in dry and wet, really only a few % off. Noise levels and drive comfort same story. But the Maxxis HP lasted 26.000 km, which is quite astonishing for my sporty driving style. HP5 isn’t the sportiest tyre but I value the comfort as well. Only negative om this tyre is the end-of-live performance, more sudden oversteer (when asked for

Very good tires (among the best I ever encounter) but the wear is just unacceptable
