285/45 22 Tyre Review Highlights

Achilles Desert Hawk UHP rated 43% while driving a Chevrolet Suburban
Driving on mostly town for 0 average miles
I bought this since this is a mid tier tires. But this tires with lots of tread life for some reason gets bulging. When time to replace the shop guy says this brand is known for bulging easily. Go but other brands

Michelin Defender LTX MS rated 100% while driving a Cadillac Unknown
Driving on a combination of roads for 60 easy going miles
Excellent quality tires and still have 5-10K miles of tread left after 60,000. You get what you pay for and for a little more, these Michelins save $$ in the long run (if you keep your vehicle for 8 years or more).

Goodyear Eagle Touring rated 31% while driving a Land Rover Range Rover L405 SDV8
Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 average miles
Had these fitted to my SV Range Rover. It is for sure the most dangerous and unpredictable tyre I’ve ever drove on! Countless close calls with the car completely breaking grip mid corner driving to the conditions, ABS would kick in on damp roads etc. I can’t believe how Goodyear - a premium brand would pass these. I’ve replaced them prematurely with Continental Premium Contact 6’s and it’s literally a whole different car to drive. Unless you want them for a drift circuit, stay clear! Ditch finders as they say

Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra rated 100% while driving a GMC Yukon Denali
Driving on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
I love my Bridgestone Alenza AS Plus tires - i have them on a 2015 GMC Denali Yukon - and i have 72,000 miles on them - i feel like they could easily go another 20K - they are wearing great - but now i am looking around to see if any tires are better than these for the money.

Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra rated 85% while driving a Chevrolet silverado 1500
Driving on mostly country roads for 1000 spirited miles
I have only had these tires for about 1000 miles of winter driving. They are on a 2020 Chevy Silverado High Country 6.2L. I have been running the Alenza for close to 20 years on Chevy trucks, but this one came with something else which I was not happy with. When one got damaged, the dealer told me I could get the new Alenza AS Ultra. I thought about it for a minute and then scraped the old ones. I got a better ride and better performance on ice and snow. I called the dealer and thanked him for the recommendation...it was a one way trip for me! I'm hoping that the tread life is similar to my past experience, which as been 45K to 50K on the two 5.3L Avalanches.

Fullrun HP199 rated 18% while driving a Chevrolet Avalanche
Driving on mostly town for 1 easy going miles
Put these tires on custom rims for my 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche and they vibrated so bad right away (out of round) that I had to go back and repurchase new Toyo Porxies to fix the vibration. What a piece of "JUNK" those Fullrun tires are never buy these or you will regret it.

Zeetex SU1000 rated 49% while driving a Cadillac Escallade

Altenzo Navigator rated 99% while driving a Nissan Navara 2.5tdi
Driving on a combination of roads for 2500 average miles
I previously ran original equipment Conti 4x4 contact 235/70r16, on my Nissan Navara.
I bought 22" rims and although 265/35r22 is recommended size I tried this size for comfort, and fits perfectly, no touching, rubbing or problems. Superb comfort, great grip wet and dry ( used to spin back end in wet with Conti's on)
These tyres I cannot reccomedn highly enough, also makes the car look so much beefier.
Have also towed a twin axle caravan with the tyres on and again no problems occurred.
Would I but these again, YES no hesitiation
