Still using this tyre for 26000 kms. I think i can only get less than 35000kms out of it. Very grippy... confortable at the beginning.. but now it roars quite a lot on badly asphalted roads. maybe it's time to try another type / brand..

Highly recommended though.

A very good tyre. Handles great at extreme conditions. Wear came a bit early.

Given 81% while driving a Ford Focus ST (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 7,000 spirited miles
Fantastic car in the dry and wet. It never feels like its going to let go, no matter how hard you push it. I had these on a focus ST and were superb! The only thing i can say against them is that they wear quickly. But then again a car with 435Nm of torque through the front wheels you are going to wear your tyres quickly. Would definatley recommend.

I just got a puncture, I didn't feel it on the road! I heard it humming a bit and tried to put some air in... I thought i just needed a bit of air... when i started the tyre thing a the garage the air came straight out of a hole in he side! Blooooming amazing tyre, i drove it home no problem, no damage to the lovely 17" alloys they're on as it drove perfectly well; giving me time to drive home and check for cheapest prices online rather than pay an emergency mobile mechanic. :)

Have managed 6300 miles out of the fron set. Am gutted as this is the second set in 12 months, not aggressive driver and would love to know what to go for now

Great in general, fitted to my wifes V6 mondeo which is a nice handling car for its size and type anyway, tyres have always gripped well in all conditions and stopped very well. They seem to have worn quickly though on the front, both my wife and i are quite quick drivers but with two small children in the car heavy cornering with them on board has been a no no or major bust up, journey in moody silence...... So with this in mind i'm not inpressed with the wear which is a shame as the from a performance point of view a great tyre. Comfort is that really the point with ultra low profiles? I have tried Pirellis as their replacement and will see how they go....

Given 87% while driving a Vauxhall Insignia ST SRI CDTI ecoFLEX 160 (245/45 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 20,000 spirited miles
Like any front wheel drive car the fronts wore more heavily than the rear. In an attempt to be in a position to replace all four tyres at the same time in time for winter I swapped the tyres front to rear and vise versa at 16,000. I should have done this maybe 2,000 miles earlier as I'm now at 20,000 and the tyres now on the rear will need replacing very soon however the fronts have maybe another 3,000 in them. Most of these miles have been covered on motorways but I tend not to hang around and love to chuck the car into corners when the road gets twisty. Overall I've been impressed with the lifespan and particularly how quiet a tyre it has been and if the price is right I'm minded to get the same again as this is what Vauxhall chose to fit the car with from the factory after all.

Just got to try something else. I feek like I am forever buying new front tyres - getting max 15,000 miles without careful driving and not throwing the car around. I remember Michelins in the past seemed to last an age, so will try them even though generally more expensive.

Given 78% while driving a Saab Automobile Vector Sport Estste 175bhp (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 30,000 spirited miles
On my vehicle this seems to be a great all rounder. I know this is classified as a summer tyre. However I drove perfectly fine throughout the bad snow of last winter without any noticable difficulties.

I briefly switched to Avon ZV5s which were appalling in comparison, replaced them within 2 weeks.

Are there any better tyres out there for a saab 9-5 estate ? I'm reluctant to even bother trying to find out as I'm very happy with Continental Sports Contact 3's. Although may try the 5's next.

Very balanced tyre very good dry grip, extremely good wet grip, very good under hard braking, wears quickly 11,000miles (pushed hard). Fully recommend as all round tyre and great for wet dry track days due to the progressive feel and great feedback.
