Given 97% while driving a Volkswagen Golf GT TDI 140 (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 3,000 easy going miles
I fitted these tyres on the front of my 06 Golf GT (TDI 140). these have now covered 29k Miles & are not yet at the wear indicator, probalbly 0.5mm of legal tread left on these which could see me another 2k miles. they were at 3mm before the winter & that has seen me cover nearly 4k since October, 85% town driving.

i wouldnt consider anything else on this car quite frankly. However i do drive like captain sensisble

Bought full set after viewing this site 18months ago and have just fitted another set after 19000miles (wheels rotated midway- unintentional but will prob do again) average motoring incl some 5000 towing a caravan.Have had several cars with large low profiles,mainly BMWs .Dont know if Ford have the steering set up especially sorted but with this car/tyre combination I do not get the wandering on uneven,cambered roads that has been such a pain in the past.Well satisfied!

Given 99% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDi 170 S Line (235/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 18,000 average miles
These have now laster 18K and are about just under 3mm at the fronts and still a decent 5mm on the rears. Yesterday the rain was hammering it down along the country roads I was on however it felt like I was driving in normal road conditions.

The wet grip was fantastic kept the car glued to the road and gave me confidence to drive as normal, with this level of grip under 3mm on the front shows how good they really are when other tyres start to lose grip in the wet after a certain ammount of wear.

Dry grip is just as good as other top premium brands but I do find these as a very comfortable ride on long journeys with good tyre flex around bends. They offer an OK ammount of kerb protection and on a front end heavy diesel have lasted well with the performance they have given.

decent tyre.. much better than its predecessor.. a good buy if you're tight in the pocket.. would trust it

Given 86% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/40 R18 V) on a combination of roads for 20,000 spirited miles
Just replaced 2 F1 asy as one had developed bulge in side wall and the other had decided to not run true, but overall very happy with both dry and wet grip on all roads. Replaced my last set of F1 v-pattern with the asy as the old pattern were good in wet but absolutly useless in snow and ice and were allways very noisy. Have now covered over 20k on the remaining asy's with nearly 5mm still remaining which is great as previous conti 2's never made it to 15k and were nothing special in wet or dry plus quite noisy and harsh. The best tyre I have ever used on my VRS giving grip, comfort and performance plus good mileage and wear.

Great all around tyre,these do everything well, great for everyday driving and when you get a bit busy at the wheel they react and hold to the pavement like glue, Really comfortable tyre, still got low mileage on them so i cant say if they ewar fast or not. I guess the only side it doenst really excell is in responsivenes but everything else.. Great tyre and i would buy them again and recommend them to a friend.

Fine tyres for spring, summer and autumn, but in winter 2010 (in the UK), I discovered to my cost... ABSOLUTELY hopeless in the snow. Virtually no grip on more than a light dusting and throw in an incline and it's game over. I've had to abandon the car on three separate occasions! Next year I'll be following the continental example and will put some winter tyres on October to March!

Given 61% while driving a Audi S4 (235/35 R18 W) on mostly town for 6,000 average miles
I replaced all 4 tyres on the Audi after having all 4 wheels refurbed not long after purchase. The F1's came highly recommended for the Audi (B6) and weren't badly priced.
Initial reports (when ditching the conti's that they replaced) were very good. Low road noise, good handling in both the wet and the dry and, bing non directional allowed me the choice of rotating the wheels (axle to axle - not...well, you know what I mean).
Now, 6000 miles later, the fronts require replacing within the next 1000-1500 miles. I swapped fronts to rears which means all four will be replaced at the same time in not so many miles.

Would I buy again? Definitely not! At £615 for four and only lasting 7-8000 miles is an insult. It's on an Audi that is my daily runner - not a track car that has hard miles.

Toyo T1-R Proxes will be my next choice.
NOTE: DON'T buy the conti's either - as much use as soggy bread.

After 15k of mainly motorway with a few A roads thrown in they are down to 5mm - 4mm in most places and tyre is wearing evenly. So far performance in wet and dry are still superb and im anticipating at least 20k out of these. Excellent value for money.

Given 83% while driving a Opel Signum Sport 3.0CDTi (225/45 R17 W) on mostly motorways for 21,000 spirited miles
I've had these tyres since March 2010 and have done over 30.000km of fast motorway miles. Can't fault them. Very good grip in the dry and exceptionally good in the wet. At the moment they are down to 3mm which is acceptable if one considers the way I drive my car. In my opinion is the best tyre in value for money.

Very good wet grip (especially rear). They lasted 26k miles on the rear compared to 30k with the previous Michelins which were far more expensive, so can't complain.

After 14k these tyres are down to 5mm all round and have been superb. They are very comfortable and offer a nice firm ride but not too hard. In the dry they have handled as well as any other top premium tyre I have tried but in the wet they have been the best tyre I have had. Grip the road superbly and give you confidence to push the car further whilst still offering excellent grip. Superb value for money too.
