Anyone who gives this tire a negative rating either can't drive a car at all or is pushing it to the limit where it shouldn't be pushed to the limit anymore, because you should be aware that these are WINTER TIRES! If you drive at an appropriate speed, you can't go wrong with these tires. After using Contis, MY FUEL CONSUMPTION has even gone down and the tire is pleasantly quiet!! Avoid this tires!
In wet the breaking and handling is terrible.
When on the accelerator they spin out very quickly.
In light snow they were very average.
On dry I didn't dare to push them. They didn't inspire confidance.
I replaced them in 2 weeks after buying car fitted with these tires (now using Goodyear Ultragrip 9+, which are much much better).
Now father uses my Kormoran tires on another car for light offroad use. There they perfom quite ok.
